Okay! So after much delay, we will finally explore languages, nationalities, and countries in Russian. Now I only know a few, but now you will too, this may be a short lesson, but there will be some very useful stuff here also. So let's get started!
Русский/Русская - Russian (Male suffix.)/Russian (Female suffix.) - Okay, so like French, Russian is pretty much entirely based on gender, and these two versions of the word 'Russian' are to be spoken to the two opposite genders respectively. Pronounced: Roos-key/Roo-sky-ya (I believe I have covered one of these before, but always good for a recap.)
Английский/Английская - English (Male suffix.) English (Female suffix.) - Simple as that, these apply both to the English language and nationality (don't worry yanks, we'll get onto you shortly.) Pronounced: Ang-lee-skeey/Ang-lee-sky-ya.
Американский/Американская - American (Male suffix.) American (Female suffix.) - Okay yanks, now you know! Pronounced: Amir-eek-anskiy/Amir-eek-an-sky-ya.
Греческий/Греческая - Greek (Male suffix.) Greek (Female suffix.) - Same as before, the different suffixes account for both genders. Pronounced: Gre-cheskiy/Gre-che-sky-ya.
I'm sorry to cut this short but I'm really strained for time, we will continue next lesson, hope you learned something!
