-1 year later -
My phone started ringing so I answered and I hear Jase's sweet voice come from the phone.
(Phone conversation)
Jase: Hey, are you doing anything right now?
Jo-anne: Nope just sitting at home
Jase: ok good get ready I'll be there in 15 minutes
(Jase hangs up)
15 minutes later
I hear someone knocking on the door knowing its Jase I race to open the door. He hugs me and says lets go we walk to his car and he opens the door for me and I thank him. The car ride was silent but it wasn't an awkward silence we were both content with it. After about 15 minutes we pulled up to a cliff that looked over the city. It was beautiful he took my hand and walked over to the edge and sat down in the soft welcoming grass. We talked for a bit when he took my hand and stood up so I followed and he took my other hand in his and said " Jo-anne you have made my life so much better when I'm down I see you and I am instantly so much happier so Jo-anne would you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?" By now he had pulled out a small box and was down on one knee. I felt tears starting to pour out of my eyes and nodded my head and said the word that would change my life forever.. "Yes."
