Right? He could just be being nice and does not really care. Maybe he just wants me to leave. Stop with all these thoughts just go with it don't get to close. I thought about the worst thing because everytime I do they usually happen.
"You ok?" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Jase and smiled
"Yeah!" With maybe a little too much enthusiastic to be a truthful answer whoops I thought. He grabbed my hand and pulls me out of the car and I felt it again The eyes burrowing into me so I looked down but now everyone was looking and eyeing me. Why wouldn't they stare they do it already, now i'm with the most popular guy in school. I heard people approach I was waiting for the punches to start or the names to come but luckily it was only Jase's friends they just asked why I was hanging with him he said that he just wanted to get to know me they said okay and smiled at me. Wait what they smiled at me? That Never happens. The day didn't seem as boring with Jase around and people were actually talking to me not calling me names or punching me they just talked. As lunch time came around it came time for my usual beating by John and his friends so I went to my locker and sure enough here they came. He grabbed my shoulder and turned me around and shoved me to the floor and started the punching and kicking since this happened every day I was used to this until it stopped and I heard a thump and I looked up and seen jase and his friends knocked John out and John's friends took off on a dead run. I looked up at Jase was muttering something under his breath and I probably looked stupid with my face I got kicked in the face a couple of times but Mason reached his hand out to help me up and I took it and said thanks in a small voice.
"How often does that happen?" Jase asked
"Everyday." I responded
