Alyssa's POV
I knocked on the door and Daniels mom answered the door.
(Dm= Daniels mom)
Dm: hello you must be the new neighbors.
Mom: yes, we are. Thank you for having us over today. This is Hunter, Alyssa, Brandon, and Ashton.

We waved when she said our names.

Mom: and I'm Christine it's nice to meet you
Dm: hi Alyssa, Daniel has been talking about you.

I felt the blush rising to my cheeks.

Dm: Alyssa, Daniel is in his room if you wanna talk to him
Me: ok what one is his room.
Dm: oh I'm sorry it's up the stairs the second door on the left
Me: ok thanks.

I started walking upstairs and I heard Daniel singing in his room. He was singing controlla by drake. His voice sounded angelic😍 I listened for a little bit (video below)

(A/n: that was my reaction to his cover. When my cousin showed it to me I'm like,"😱 His voice sounds angelic😍!" She started laughing at me😂.)

I knocked on the door when he stopped playing.

Daniel: come in.

I open the door and see Daniel sitting in his chair with a guitar in his lap.

Daniel: did you hear it?

I nodded my head yes

Daniel: it sounded terrible I kno--
Me: are you kidding?! It sounded amazing!
Daniel: can you sing?
Me: well....
Daniel: cmon sing something.
Me: I don't know--
Daniel: pleaseeeee!
Me: ok fine.

I started singing let it go by James bay
(Video in media is what she sounded like) after I finished the chorus he just stared.

Me: I know it was terrible.
Daniel: that. was. amazing
Me: thank you
Daniel: we should write a song.... Have you ever written one before?
Me: yeah... With a boy named Jacob Sartorius
Daniel: yeah I know him.
Me: yeah everybody does. We were in dance class back in Florida and we had to write a song and then make up a dance. We filmed it and made a music video and its on our school website.... It might be on YouTube now I don't know.
Daniel: what's it called?
Me: bang dem sticks.

Daniel looked it up and watched the video then looked at me.

Me: what?
Daniel: you're good.
Me: thanks
Daniel: so do you want to do a duet with me one time?
Me: sure sound fun
Daniel: are you nervous for school tomorrow?
Me: yeah a lot... Because back at my old school I was bullied and I....

I lifted up my sleeve revealing my cuts a little bit. Tears formed in my eyes. But he didn't say anything he just hugged me and I hugged back.

Daniel: I can ask the principal if I can show you around school tomorrow?
Me: really?
Daniel: yeah why not?

He smiled. It was really..... Cute.

Soon afterwards his mom called us down for dinner. We ate a delicious dinner and then Daniel asked if I wanted to go penny boarding. I said sure.

He and I went penny boarding and we ended up at a park. He took out his phone and went on snapchat and I put my chin on the top of his head while doing jazz hands and smiling with my eyes closed while he was looking up at me. He put it on his story and captioned it 'That One Friend🙄💞'

I laughed and did the same thing on mine except I was the one on the bottom. I saved the picture to my memories and then put it on my story. Then I got a text from Blake.

Him💞😊: replacing me already?

He texted that with the picture of me and Daniel.

Me: no😂, no one can even come close to replacing you😘

Daniel looked over my shoulder and laughed.

Daniel: is that your boyfriend.
Me: no, he's my best friend. I don't have a boyfriend. He asked me but I told him long distance would be too hard for me. He understood.
Daniel: so you are from Florida?
Me: yeah
Daniel: we should probably get back its getting dark
Me: yeah I have to unpack a little bit.
Daniel: k I'll take you home
Me: Kk

We rode back to my house and I gave him his penny board back. I smiled at him and started walking up my driveway but then he yelled.

Daniel: wait Alyssa!
Me: yeah?
Daniel: can I have your number
Me: yeah sure gimme your phone
Daniel: you gimme yours

We gave each other our phones. I named my contact name

And he named his

We both laughed a little and I went inside. My brothers and mom came about 10 minutes later.

I was unpacking when I heard a knock on my door. I look up and see Hunter.

Me: hey Hunter
Hunter: hey Ally. You nervous for school?
Me: is that even a question

I say while still unpacking

Hunter: so you and that Daniel kid?
Me: friends.
Hunter he seems nice
Me: he is.
Hunter: I heard you singing from downstairs.
Me: oh yeah he was singing amazingly and then he wanted me to sing so I did.
Hunter: you have a beautiful voice Ally
Me: thanks Hunter. I'm gonna get some sleep you should probably do the same.
Hunter: yeah.
Me: also do you wanna walk with me and Daniel to school? And if Brandon wants to tag along with us he can
Hunter: yeah that'd be cool
Me: k see ya tomorrow goodnight Hunter
Hunter: goodnight Ally

The Next Morning

I woke up and changed into (pic in media). I walked out of my bedroom and see Hunter eating with a bowl of cereal next to him. He pats the spot next to him and I eat the cereal. I finish eating and go to my moms room.

Mom: hey sweetie you nervous
Me: yeah
Mom: don't be you'll do fine.
Me: hopefully. Oh um mom?
Mom: yes?
Me: can I get my hair cut and at the bottom dye it blue possibly?
Mom: sure you've had a rough week
Me: thanks mom can we do it after school?
Mom: yeah of course
Me: thanks bye mom.
Mom: bye hope you have a good day.

Me and Hunter walked out the door with Brandon tagging along behind us. Daniel ran out of his house towards us.

Daniel: hey Ally
Me: hey Daniel
Daniel: you nervous
Me: is that even a question?

I'm actually kinda excited.
