Alyssa's POV
Loren: m-my d-dad left my f-family

Tears formed in my eyes as I remembered when I was five when my dad left.

--Flashback--
I was sitting in my room coloring, around 7:30 when I heard screaming from downstairs. I was being curious so I went downstairs and saw my dad and mom yelling at each other, my mom was crying.

I went to Hunter's room. I knocked on the door.

Me: Hunter?
Hunter: yeah?
Me: can I sleep with you again mommy and daddy are yelling again?
Hunter: yeah come here

He gave me a hug and I grabbed my blanket and a pillow and slept on the floor that night.

The next morning I woke up and see Hunter shaking me.

Hunter: Ally cmon time for school.
Me: yay school!
Hunter: dork
Me: am not
Hunter: are too.
Me: whatever

I said with attitude and stomped out of his room and into mine. I got changed for school and then my mom drove us to school.

That night at dinner time I ran downstairs and I was gonna run and give my dad a hug, but he wasn't there.

Me: mommy?
Mom: yes sweetie?
Me: where's daddy?
Hunter: he left, he hates us
Mom: Hunter! Don't say that he loves you!

Her tears started falling from her face.

Mom: he's just taking a vacation.... For a long time
Me: how long?
Mom: I don't know sweetie.
Hunter: he went on vacation without us?!
Mom: yes sweetie hopefully he'll be safe while he's gone.

Years past and my mom finally told me when I was 10 that he was never coming back, that he left us. Hunter got mad and ran to his friends house and stayed there for a while. Me? I just stayed in my room skipping school all the time.

I miss him... But I also could care less because he left our family...

--Flashback Over--

Me: L-Loren I know how you feel I know it hurts
Loren: i now know how you feel... And I am so sorry I've been distant from you lately it's just hard.
Me: Loren it's ok. I can stay the night of you want me to?
Loren: yes please do

I texted my mom.

Me: mom can I stay the night at Loren's house tonight?
Mom😘❤️: no sweetie not on a school night.

Tears formed in my eyes as I told Loren I'd be right back. I called my mom.

Me: mom please!
Mom: I said no Ally now get home right now.
Me: no mom I'm staying no matter what you tell me.

I said with a lump in my throat making it obvious I was crying.

Mom: sweetie what happened why are you crying?
Me: mom you don't understand Loren needs me right now
Mom: what happened?
Me: her dad left her family.
Mom: oh my gosh, yeah you can stay but tell her mom we are bringing them food for dinner tonight.
Me: k thanks mom.

I went to Loren's moms room and knocked on her door

(Lm= Loren's mom)

Lm: yes?
Me: hey it's Ally

I heard footsteps then the door opened

Lm: yes sweetie?
Me: my mom said that she's bringing dinner over tonight because of the incident that happened with...

I trailed off and she just nodded her head. I walked away after that and went to Loren's room.

Me: my mom said I can stay
Loren: yay!

She sounded a bit cheerful but I could tell she was hurting. I sat next to her.

Me: do you have a date to the dance?
Loren: yeah. Geo asked me.
Me: I ship you two so much.
Loren: ha thanks.
Me: yeah anything for my "sis"
Loren: thanks for everything Ally

She said while we hugged.

Thursday

Loren has been doing a lot better than on Monday. I love her to death. We are going shopping for our dresses for the dance tomorrow night. I'm excited. We quick went to my house after school and I changed into (pic in media left) and she changed into (pic in media right) (both with jeans)

When we got to the mall we went to a few different stores and couldn't find anything. We flopped into chairs and sighed.

Me: why can't we find anything.
Loren: I don't know it's like we can't find anything that looks good on us.

Geo and Weston: anything looks good on you guys.

Me and Loren shot our heads up and both smiled and hugged them. I kissed Weston's cheek and hugged him again.

Me: what're you doing here?
Weston: hanging out what about you?
Me: hanging out.
Geo: we should hang out together
Loren: we were about to leave actually
Me: yeah maybe another time sorry. Gotta go see ya tomorrow babe
Weston: bye baby
Geo: see ya babe
Loren: byeeeee

We went to another store until finally we came upon a store called dress barn. We found the perfect dresses. We were gonna match with our date so my dress is blue and Loren's is red (pics are gonna be in next chapter😉😂.)

We both squealed as we hung them up and looked at them. I get a nervous feeling in my stomach. A good nervous like... I know I'm going with the right person. I smile as me and Loren hug.

I hope nothing bad happens again with me and Weston. But nothing could go wrong me and Weston have been dating for 2 months going strong and I have no plans tomorrow night. So all should go well. I went home and texted him.

Me: hey
My Boo😍💞: hey babe
Me: can you come in through my balcony I need to talk to you
My Boo😍💞: did I do something? Are you ok?!
Me: yeah your fine and there's nothing going on I just wanna talk to you.
My Boo😍💞: k be over in a minute

I changed into sweatpants while I waited for him. When I herd a knock on my balcony I opened it up and let him in.

Me: hey babe.
Weston: hey!

He said while he walked in and wrapped his arms around my waist pecking my lips. I smile and we sit on the bed.

Weston: so whatcha wanna talk about
Me: promise that if something happens on the night of the dance we know that we can still be friends.
Weston: what? Where'd that come from?
Me: well last time you asked me to the dance something went terribly wrong and I don't want that to happen again.
Weston: well then I promise I will always love you like a sister... Maybe more when I know what love is.

He kissed me and then he had to go.
