Chapter 3 (The Dog Chase)________

"STOP RIGHT THERE."

I heard the cops say very quietly, well at least quiet to me. I can't tell because of the noise of the dogs right behind me.I decided to look back one last time to see where the dogs were, bad idea.

The dogs were so close that I could hear their heavy panting in between their murderous barks. I screamed with the last of my breath and I knew I couldn't keep running and dodging trees forever. I was mesmerized by the look of the dogs. Evil things with saliva everywhere with their all black coat. What was the scariest of all were there eyes there eyes were ice blue and had no pupils.

*SMACK*

I ran hard into a tree. I fell down into the leaves and dirt and watched in horror as the dogs ran the tiny space that was in between me and the dogs. They surronded me barking as loud as they could. I was so dizzy from the stupid tree. I felt my forehead for swelling, it was I'm pretty sure the worst swelling I've had since I was little.

I heard the police yell, "THERE SHE IS....'' Then, I passed out....

When I awoke I heard and saw chaos. Police sirens were blaring, and blinding lights were flashing red and blue. What did I do? I am innocent....

"She is awake! Watch out we don't know what she can do!" One of the cops said.

I couldn't tell which one was speaking because of all the noises and lights everywhere. My brain couldn't process all this. I screamed, but my scream was overpowered by the shouting and sirens.

My head started to spin again. When, will this end! I start crying, I wanted reality to kick in. I wanted to believe that it was all a dream. I wanted to wake up!

Have you ever heard the phrase

"Pinch me I must be dreaming?"

Well, if your awake enough to think about pinching yourself then you are probably already in reality sadly enough.
