"We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of light."
- Plato
I've never been fond of the light. When I was smaller, around four or five years old, I disliked the light with a strong passion. Sure it's essential to life and one of God's gifts but I disliked how the light exposes too much of something. When everything is dark it's scary. You can't deny that the dark is a terrifying thing but the thrill of being scared is more than you can imagine. Suddenly, when you look around you, you start to notice the simple, beautiful things. It might be a little unclear but you can still learn to accept the beauty of the object that is hidden in darkness.
"Never love a cold-hearted man his mind is full of trickery and ice runs through his veins he will break your heart into a million tiny pieces and you will spend all of your time attempting to retrieve the pieces.
Bandaging the wounds his careless remarks thrown like darts have left on your battered ego he, who in his own mind sees himself as master of the universe sees you as his puppet and he gets some kind of thrill from manipulating your strings."
- Faith Elizabeth Brigham
Well Miss Brigham, I disagree. How will you know a man is cold-hearted? Maybe it's all an act. Maybe he's just putting on a show as a cry for help. There has been many cases like that. Yes, there are odds that he can fuck with your thinking and manage to sneak himself in your thoughts but what if it's all a cry for help? He just needs a little saving. A little work. A little..love. You can't give up on someone without saying you've tried because that wouldn't be the case. You shouldn't give up on anyone. Especially not if you have feelings for him. Take for example, Harry and I.
