CHAPTER 3

As we waited in our rooms we could hear alarms going off and people running around outside screaming get down. I turn to jack and said " I think we are under attack." Jack shook his head and said "no their are no gunshots or explosion so why should we be under attack. Right after he said that an explosion went off. people kept saying "protect them, let no one know they are here!" I was so confused when i looked where he was where jack was he was not there.

i sighed in disappointment, i said to myself " i knew this would happen, he ran off to go see what was going on." As I started down the hallway I noticed how there was no students in their rooms, I opened a door to one of the rooms and I looked outside, what I saw I almost could not believe. I saw monsters trying to attack the school!

The monsters looked beautiful every Greek and roman monster you can think. I took a step back from the window and thought to myself that this was all a dream. I heard the door open behind me and someone walked in and I heard a girl's voice "the monsters are real"she said they are not visible to the human eye but certain people can see them, and those certain people are demigods.

I looked at her and thought she was crazy, she turned around and walked towards the door and said "you should follow you are in danger if you stay by the windows. She walked out the door and I followed right behind,she explained to me on why humans can't see the monsters and how we can only see them. So, I said the monsters are covered with like an invisibility cloth? Sort of it's what we call shimmer, it basically covers the human's eyes and covers the monster as well. so it does not expose them to the human eye.

we continued to leave and get to safety,after we tried to get to safety an explosion went off and one of the doors blew off, we flew two feet back and one of us were knocked out I tried to wake her up but it wasn't working she just lied there motionless i turned around to see if anyone would come out of the room i was right. A girl came out and looked around, She didn't seem to notice me until i moved so i could get away from her. I tried to move away but i was frozen in my tracks, I could feel her powerful aura it struck me down and paralyzed me.I looked to the girl passed out still didn't move. I looked back at the other girl who came out to the door, she just sat there and looked at me and said nothing. "What do you want" I yelled at her. I am looking for francine faith, she is wanted for her crimes against the capital. "why is she important?" i asked her. That is nothing to concern you unless you are her, then you must come with me. I stared at her not knowing what to do. She asked once more if i was Francine Fath. i nodded and asked what i did, i told her i just noticed my powers and never knew about the monsters. The lady took me by the arm and we walked out the door. When we got outside there was a car waiting for us, we got in the car and it took us away. She told me about how my parents were on the council i told her i had no parents. She showed me a baby picture of me and my parents i had the same mark on my stomach as the little girl in the picture. i was shocked, an actual of my parents, i asked her how she got it  and she just sat there without one word. she looked me dead in the face and said i have it because im your....as soon as she was about to tell me we arrived at our destination, she hopped out of the car and we were escorted to the head office. we got to the door and she stopped and said i wish i can tell you but, it's not up to me. She opened the door and in the middle of the room was a man and two kids a boy and a girl. They are about ten or twelve they saw me and ran and hugged me, like they knew me.the lady who found me went and hugged the man. she said to him i found her it took so long but we found her. I walked forward towards them and said, you are the adults in the picture with me as a little girl. are are you my parents
