Carter's pov
I waited about two hours for the doctor, finally he arrived. "Miss Lee?" The doctor called. "Hey doc how is she? Is she alive?" I asked panicking. "Mam calm down, your girlfriend is fine. She lost alot of blood but she is strong. However, there was a strange mark on her like something bit her. So I'll have to do some tests. By next week she should be out of here." Doctor explained to me. "Can I see her?" I asked hoping he'd say yes. "In the next half hour." He said walking off. "Is he serious?" I asked myself. I will call Mason and see how the plan went.
(Phone convo)
Mason: yo boss I think you should come to the trap right now, like right now!
Me: slow down man what's the matter?
Mason: its your ex she's been shot.
Me: are you serious-
Mason: the ex you never really broke things off with, Sammy she has been shot.
Me: I'll be right there
(End call)
Mason's pov
I arrived at the trap returning from the job Carter gave me. I decided to wait till Carter arrive. Suddenly, I heard a loud noise. I cautiously walked to the door to see Sammy on the ground. "Omg! Sammy who did this to you?" I exclaimed. I took her up carried her inside and applied pressure to the wound. I quickly called Carter and told her so she'll be here shortly.
