~•Your POV•~

Beep. Beep. Beep. Bee- I groaned. I. Hate. Mornings. I rolled around to grab my phone, but my luck, I feel off the bed. "God Damn It." I heard some chuckles from Laurance. "Laurance I swear." I chuckled with a smile. I stood up and went to the bathroom to get ready for my first day back from vacation.

"Kay Laur, Imma head out. Bye babe."
He came over and gave me a quick peck. "Bye. Hope you have a good first day back." I smiled at him. "I will."

I climbed into my car and pulled out of the garage. I see Laurance waving in the window. He doesn't have to go to work until 9. That lucky little shit.
I waved back and pulled out of the driveway and onto the quiet street.

XxX (I hate 2 time skips right in a row)

I arrived at the adoption center and instantly heard yelling like:

"OHMEHGUSH ITS Y/N!"
"YOU GUYS LOOK!"
"I like turtles."
"ITS Y/N!"
"YAY Y/N's BACK!"
"I'm a squirrel."

I walked through the door and got tackled by little hands. "Hey guys!"
I said with a smile. "Come play!" One of them, Jake, said. "I will. I have to check in first." "OKAY!" They all said in unison.

I walked up to the front desk where my boss, Zoe, was standing. "They really like you don't they?" "Yeah. I love the little guys like they're my own." She smiled. "I think they want you." I looked behind me to see them all starting at me... I feel uncomfortable.

I walk over to them and sit down on the floor. "Read us a story, Y/n!" One of the youngest, Alyria, exclaimed. "Okay, which one?" She handed me 'Little Red Riding Hood.'

I read the book to them and they all seemed to enjoy it. "Whatcha wanna do now, guys?" I asked. "Oh! Let's play Tag!" We walked outside. "Y/N's it!"
"Run you little munchkins." I counted to five and ran towards them. I tapped Kade. "Your it!" He started running around with the others.

"Bye guys!" I gave them all a hug.
"By Y/n!" They all yelled. I smiled.
"Bye Zoey!" "Bye Y/n."

I hopped into my car and started it up.
I pulled out of the adoption center and started down the road.

(Cue Music)
~•Laurance's POV•~

I was reading some FanFics with the news in the background. Something caught my attention.

"This just in, we have a major car crash.
Someone, which we presume drunk, crashed into a gray SUV, which had a H/C girl driving it. Bill."

They switched reporters. This 'Bill' guy was at... Y/N's work...

"Hello, this is Bill reporting from Zoey's Child Adoption Center."
"H-Hi, all I know about the crash is that she was heading home from here, her j-job, to her beloved L-Laurance Zvahl." I froze. I-It's Y-Y-Y/n. Tears fell down my face. "Miss Zoey, isn't Y/n's boyfriend Laurance?" "Shh, not now Jake." "This was Bill reporting from the Adoption Center. Mason."

They switched back to the original reporter.

"Y/n is in critical condition. She is being taken to the Quaran hospital as we speak." I threw some shoes on, grabbed my phone, car key, & house key. I slammed the door shut and rushed over to the hospital.

I ran inside to the receptionist.
"Y/n L/n." "She's not ready to be seen yet. "I'm Laurance Zvahl, which room?"
"327." I rushed down the hall.
321, 323, 325, 327, 330- 327!
I rush over to the doctor.

"Mr. Zvahl, she-" I walked in and hugged her. She looked at me confused.
"Get off me, stranger!" I stepped back.
Wh-What? A tear fell down my face.
"Mr. Zvahl, come here please."
I walked out of the room towards him.
"Mr. Zvahl, I tried to tell you, she has Amnesia. We don't know what she can or can't remember yet. I'm sorry." I nodded. Tears were stained on my face.
"O-Oh...I...I...I'll wait here." I said, walking over to the lobby.

Why. Why does this have to happen. I was gonna propose to her tonight, since it is our...our...anniversary.

I sat down in the lobby, staring down at my folded hands, tears falling down my face.

I'm so sorry. I don't regret this chapter. Oh, and also, sorry for the minor cliff hanger. Next chapter will be out soon. ✌️
