"Ana, he's a dream!" I told my best friend, Eliana, about Michael on the telephone. "He's coming over today to help me study."

"You? Study? Study what?" Eliana was quick to ask.

"Chemistry." I groaned. "It's so hard."

"If you would've called me sooner, I would've come over with some lingerie." Eliana insisted before laughing.

"Eliana," I blushed before giggling. "I could never do that. I'm the shyest person in the world."

"The shyest person in the world doesn't interact with her crush." My best friend pointed out.

"Her crush interacted with her first." I shot back in reply.

"Well," She heartily chuckled for a moment. "I wanna hear all about it when he leaves. Studying together, next thing you know, y'all end up together."

"Be quiet." I said before hearing the doorbell ring. "He's here now, yikes. I have to go."

"Keep calm and carry on, bitch!" Eliana told me, being one of her favorite catchphrases.

"Goodbye, Eliana." I laughed and hung up with her. I looked at my hair to make sure it was neat and in place.

It was just studying and I was at home, so there was no need for much effort.

However, it was Michael.

Michael Jackson.

He was someone so special and someone so perfect, I just couldn't be my normal self.

My normal self was lame.

Then again, what else could I be besides my normal self?

I had no other choice but to be my normal self.

I sighed and went to answer the door. He widely grinned as soon as I opened the door for him.

"Mia."

I smiled but internally cringed at the thought of him not knowing my real name.

"Hey, Michael. Please come in." I let him in the house and he came in, shutting the door behind him.

My father was asleep in his room. He had probably been drunk all day, so I didn't have to worry about him waking up while Michael was over.

"You have a nice home." He rubbed his palms together, studying the living room.

"Oh, thank you." I blushed, not really believing Michael was standing in my house.

"You're welcome." Michael gave me a small smile. "Do we get to study in your room or do we get to study up here?"

"My room is fine. I study there mostly." I nodded, knowing good and well I didn't study -- let alone in my room. I just didn't want my drunken father to appear at any point in time that Michael spent over my house.

"Lead the way, soul sister." He chuckled, causing me to laugh lightly as well.

Michael was so jovial, I loved that about him.
