So, for those who liked, have read, and voted for this story, for the many who I have told I was pretty much done with it. I have come up with a new twist, and I would like to know what you think.
So Here's what happened in between~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amanda’s POV
When Greg got the call that Samantha was dead, he just cried. He wouldn’t talk to anyone, including me, his sister was dead. Along with Cole, I hadn’t even began to process in my head what those word will do to me. I didn’t cry, but emotionally I was pretty unstable right now. I was either normal like this, or I was in hysterics.
“ Greg, how will we tell Sam?” I made out and Greg just looked up at me to start crying again, and then that’s when the tears started to fall from my eyes.
Next day~
“ Auntie Manda?” Samuels voice cam from upstairs, he looked confused. Of course! Greg and I were sitting on the couch cuddled up from last night crying. He expected his parents to be home in the morning. “ Where’s mummy and daddy?” Straight to the point, wasn’t he? How was I going to explain this to him, I just don’t know how to do these kinds of things.
“ Samuel, come over here sweat-heart,” I managed, and he looked at me scared before making his way down the stairs. When he was right in front of me I pulled away from Greg and pulled Samuel onto my lap, “ Sam honey, your mom and dad aren’t going to be coming back. When they were on the way home from your grandparents they died,” Samuel looked at me before crying.
“ Your lying! Mummy and daddy would never leave me,” He said tears coming down his face, he pulled away from me.
“ Sam honey, I’m sorry, but your Aunt Manda is right I got the call last night,” Greg managed his voice cracked a little, and he slowly got up, “ Come here bud,” He said holding his hands out for Samuel, who looked at him before walking slowly to him. Greg picked him up and hugged him.
“ Uncle Greg, does that mean I’m going to live with you?” Samuel asked, and Greg looked at me.
“ Of course you can live with us Sam,” I made out, and Greg looked at me with a small smile.
12 years later Sam’s POV
I walked over to my parents grave, I looked down at it. The grave read, “ Loving parents, that died way to young” I had see this sight every since I was 3, I saw them get buried at that age. Even if I cant remember seeing it, I know that I did. My Aunt Amanda tells me I look like my father, but act exactly like my mother. I knew it was her who I was named after, I also knew she lost her mom, or thought she did. Grandpa died of alcohol, three years after Mom died. Grandma isn’t much farther behind him, you can see the grief in her eyes every day.
“ Sam, what are you doing here?” Ari asked looking at me, her black hair in her face as she was probably listening to the latest heavy metal music. She looked over at the gravestone, and I lay the flowers in my hand by it, “ Oh Sam,” She said before hugging me.
“ Perhaps you could get me the new Longer album?” (a/n I made up the band, haha I have no idea what will be popular 15 years from now) I asked and she nodded showing me her ipod, of course, she was listening to it.
“ Come on, we can walk to Bat Cove and hang out,” She smiled pulling me with her, and I managed a smile. She let go of my wrist as soon as we neared the edge of the cemetery, and I followed her to Bat Cove. Better known as our hangout, our groups hang out actually. Ari’s mom bought a older building and told her to use it as a hangout. So we cleaned it up, made it look awesome and used it as such.
“ Hey Sam, my father gave me this, he said it should be given to you,” Ari said handing me a photo album, I looked at it. There was a girl, wearing all black and she strangely looked like my mom. It was titled “ Best Friends” I opened to the first page, there was a picture of the same girl and a younger version of Ari’s dad. I read the caption, “ Sam and I, I wish I could have told her.” Wait, this girl was my mom?
“ Ari, did you know my mom was friend with you dad?” I asked her and she looked at me, confusement in her eyes.
“ Of course, he talks about her all the time. After my mom died, he told me, ‘Ariana, I’ve lost two of the most important girls in my life. Don’t you ever become the third’ I found the album after that. My father loved your mom, more then he ever loved mine,” Ari told me and I looked at her, tear started to fall down from her eyes and I hugged her.
“ Ari, your parents gave me the most spectacular thing in my life,” I paused as she looked at me, “ You,” She smiled and I felt her arms tighten on me.
