Kevin's POV

I do not know where all these people came from. Just a couple of hours ago, it was only the eight of us. Some how that multiplied. I barely know everybody's name, they're all drunk and f*cked up off of something. The room is filled with saddened adults that know nothing else but alcohol as a coping mechanism. I am one of those many adults.

Here I sit at the kitchen table with Wesley, Kyle, Sam, Edith and a couple of other strangers. My vision slightly spinning from the effects of alcohol, but I still study everybody's faces. I've been sipping out of the same bottle of Grey Goose Vodka for the past half hour. I have gotten so used to the taste, it's almost like sparkling water. I've witnessed the two other strangers do cocaine with Jose and Sarah. They asked me if I wanted to join in, and I almost accepted. I bet if I were black out drunk, I would have.

"Kevin." Sarah dragged her words as she spoke my name. Her hand reached out for my shoulder to steady herself. The thought of removing her hand from me and letting her fall crossed my mind. God, she is awfully annoying. She has been non-stop bothering me since she got here. "Do you think I am pretty?" She batted her eyelashes at me and giggled like a school girl. It's not the first time she asked me that particular question tonight. I made the mistake of telling her I thought she was beautiful when she first asked. Although I am not going to lie, she is beautiful. I just wish she would stop touching me.

"Very." Another mistake. You want to know how I know it was a mistake? Because she sat herself right on my lap the second the words left my mouth. She took the bottle of vodka out of my hands and chugged down whatever was left of it. "I was going to finish that." The words left my mouth sounding more irritated than intended.

"Oops." She giggled once more and sat the empty bottle on the table. "I'm sorry." Her breath fanned my ear as she whispered to me, or at least she tried to whisper. The smell of alcohol and marijuana filled my nostrils. A small kiss was placed on my jaw and I stiffened. Not out of nervousness, but mainly out of feeling very uncomfortable. She placed my hand on her thigh, leaned her head on my shoulder and smiled. This is getting too awkward for me, and I'm almost certain everyone else can sense it too.

"I gotta piss." I slightly shoved Sarah off of my lap and stood up. A confused and embarrased look was as clear as day on her pale face. She then took my seat and continued conversation with everybody. They seemed to be having a drunken debate on wether Apple or Samsung is better. A guy I recently learned the name of, Joe said, and I quote; "I promise you that Samsung is better, I never break my promises." Honestly, I am going to have to go with Joe on this one. I guess I just really don't see what the big deal about Apple is.

I quickly entered the bathroom and locked the door behind me. No, I don't actually need the bathroom. If that wasn't already obvious. I stood in front of the mirror and watched myself. I took in my baggy, bloodshot eyes and ran my fingers through the dark brown, curly mess I call hair. I don't recognize myself anymore. I dragged my fingers over my face, my lips parted as my fingers trailed slowly down towards my jaw. "Kevin." My voice came out scratchy and distant as I repeated my own name. I don't feel real, like a curtain is going to drop any moment as a sign that the show is over. Oh how I wish this was a show, but this unfortunately what my life has become. With a sigh, I splashed water in my face, hoping that it would help wear off the drowsiness. It probably won't but its worth a shot.

I gave myself a couple of more minutes to pull myself together before exiting the bathroom. A large part of me just wants to go lock myself in Wesley's bedroom so I can sleep. But for some reason, I fought against that plan and made my way back towards the living room. My attention quickly lands on Wesley, who has a very angry look on his face. His fists are balled up on his sides, his breathing rugged and his eyes that hold so much fury within them. He was livid.

"What the f*ck did you just say?" Wesley's voice came out as pure venom. I almost felt bad for the guy standing in front of him. He was a head shorter than Welsey and had a smug grin painted on his face. The kind of grin that made you want to strangle them without hesitation, and I can tell that Wesley is holding back from literally strangling the guy.

"I said Sam is an ugly bitch" And that's all it took. Wesley's fist ran right into his jaw, causing the guy to fall to the ground. One punch wasn't enough for Wesley, he got on top of him and kept throwing punches to the guys face.

An audience quickly formed in the living room. I pushed myself through the crowd of people surrounding the fight. Sam stood beside Kyle with her face red from anger, she looked at him and yelled "do something!" He did not move a muscle, instead he stood there with the same shocked expression. Before I knew what I was doing, I grabbed onto Wesley's shoulder in attempt to stop him. I pulled him back, hard, causing him to elbow me straight in the chin. Multiple gasps were heard around the room as I applied pressure to where I have been hit. Wesley looked at me with wide eyes and his mouth slightly agape.

"I'm so sorry man, I di-" Some guy shouted out "holy f*ck!" As Wesley dropped to the floor the floor. With my hand still on my chin, I looked towards the guy in front of me. In his hand was the lap that was previously on the end table. His breathing is really rigid and his nose looks like it may be broken. His face held the biggest death glare I have ever seen as he just stared me down. This guy just knocked the f*ck out of Wesley with a lamp. Everyone waited in silence for what would happen next. My hand finally dropped from my face and I looked down at my friend and back up at who ever the hell he is. Blood was leaking down his face from his nose and mouth. He then spit out a disgusting mixture of blood and saliva onto Wesley's unconscious body, and that's all it took for me to connect my fist with his face. We were on the ground in seconds, me on top and holding him down with my knees while I continuously punch him.

"You disrespectful little f*ck!" I added more force with each blow to his already beaten face. Oh well, he should have known not to pick a fight. The adrenaline rush is the only thing going through my head right now. My hands found their way around his neck and I began to strangle him.

"Kevin stop!" Sarah screeched in my ears as she attempted to pull me off. Its like I can't let go, like my life depended on killing him. A devilish grin spread across my face as his eyes began to close. Large hands replaced the smaller ones and yanked me right off of the guy.

My back hit the wall with a loud thud, causing a couple of picture frames to fall. "Are you f*cking crazy? You nearly killed the guy!" Edward shouted in my face. I looked him in the eyes trying to calm myself down. No words would exit my mouth no matter how much I tried to talk. I was still shaking from the adrenaline still in my veins and all I can think about is me and Wesley possibly getting arrested.
