- Task One : Pain -

Haylee watched the sun set as she stayed outside not wanting to go back into the Malfoy Mansion. Bellatrix would curse at the blonde for being lazy or just being in her sight.

Haylee needed a break from it all, she just wanted to leave, but the shield around the house would electrify her. She sighed at that memory when Voldemort finally trusted her after a week and let her off on her own, but she ran and got electrified.

She felt tears in her eyes when she thought about Harry, Remus, or even Ron. She hadn't even thought of Sirius and when he was cursed with the killing curse by Bellatrix. Finally when the last thought of her not even seeing her broken family again she cried.

Tears just streamed down her face as her chest racked with sobs and her head went down to her knees. Her body shook at how hard she sobbed. Holding in the tears since she was eleven when Harry disowned her, when no one would talk to her, and no one would ever see her again.

Draco walked out as well feeling depressed at the news he just received. Dumbledore, he had to kill Dumbledore. The most powerful wizard at the time and smart at that. He bit his lip to keep from screaming and kicked a rock away him as his ears perked up when he heard a sob.

His eyes wondered over to Haylee Potter who was curled up on the ground crying. His eyebrows furrowed. 'She never cries.' He thought as he carefully walked over to her. "Haylee?" He asked and she didn't move as she kept sobbing.

He sighed and leaned down her shaking body. "Haylee." He said softly and she looked up at him with red, puffy eyes and tears running down her pale face.

"I-I don't want to feel anymore." She mumbled and Draco sat down next to her as she watched him carefully.

"Yes you do. You're just at a down of your life." He muttered as he watched the sun go down further.

"I'm being serious, Draco. My whole life, from the time I turned one, it went down hill and in hell." She said angrily as she watched the sun with Draco as well.

He sighed and looked at the sad girl. He wanted to help her, and that's what the Dark Lord wanted as well. He carefully grabbed her chin and made her look his way. His palms sweated slightly as she didn't move away and he leaned his face in closer.

Once they were centimeters apart Haylee was the one to make the first move and quickly move her lips on Draco's and kiss him. Once he didn't pull away and kiss back, Haylee kissed him hard with all the emotion she was feeling.

What they didn't know was Tom Riddle watched the whole thing and smirked. "It's finally time for her training." He said to Peter Pettigrew.

He shakily nodded and they went inside the mansion as the two lovers stayed there the whole night, not wanting to stay out of the spot.

Haylee's POV

The next day, Draco and I have been very close. Draco would occasionally grab my hand and run his thumb over my knuckles while I would lean my head on his shoulder whenever we were in a meeting.

I looked over at Voldemort as he smiled over at me. "And Haylee, you're going to start your training." He ended and my eye brows furrowed.

"What training?" I asked and the death eaters gasped as I spoke out of line.

The smile quickly wiped off his face as he glared at me. "Your going to become a death eaters one way or another so we are going to start your training." He hissed and I glared at him.

"No." I stated and he stood up.

"You don't have a choice. Belatrix start her training now." He said and left with the serpent by his side. Everyone got up, but I stayed in my seat as Bellatrix made her way over.

"Haylee, please, don't do anything stupid. Just go through the training, it's not like he's making you have the dark mark." Draco said as I rolled my eyes.

"You're missing a word. Yet. He won't make me have the dark mark yet." I mumbled sadly and he just kissed my hand.

"We'll have a tattoo together. Isn't that on your todo list." Draco said trying to lighten the mood.

I smiled slightly and looked at him. "Thanks for trying to see the light in that." I smiled and he chuckled.

"I try. I'll see you after training alright." He said while I nodded and sighed while he walked away and I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Time to go Potter." She hissed and pulled me away while I growled at her.

She pushed me into the middle of a room the was completely empty. She raised her wand and smiled sickly sweet.

"You will be going through three tasks. Pain tolerance being the first." She cackled and waved her wand. "Crucio!"

I dropped to the floor in pain, my body lot with fire that soon felt freezing cold then glass cutting it all at once. Bellatrix laughed when I screamed.

"You will learn that people will try to torture you into doing whatever they want. So, in result, you have to be able to not scream whenever the Crucio curse to move on to the next task." She cackled and then lifted her wand to give me a break to breathe.

Once I took one long breath she lowered her wand. "Crucio."

I screamed not expecting it and she laughed at me.

"Again."
