Can't Wait | Seokmin

Fifteen.

The play was just about to start, the gym was already starting to fill with people, classmates were rushing around putting on makeup or costumes or reading lines. 

"Guy we need to start heading back stage" said one of the students and everyone began to hustle to the gym.

"Can someone go get Seokmin and Seungkwan?"

Subin being the only one that heard the request, sighed and began to walk to the hall to where the two boys were dressing.

As she was about to knock on the door, the door slightly opened and Seungkwan slipped out closing the door behind him.

"W-wah Seungkwan, your costume looks good" Subin tried small conversation
"Thanks, I'm playing Mercutio"
"Isn't that Romeo's friend in the play?"
"Yeah"
"Oh uh well the plays about to start"

He smiled and nodded, beginning to walk away. To Subin he was acting quiet but she ignored it and went to knock on the door.

"Subin-ah, do me a favor"
She turned her head to him, he seemed serious. It was surprising.

"Can you stop leading him on? It's really screwing him up"
"   "
"He's always happy, always smiling but ever since a few days back, he's been different"
"I don't und-I'm sor-"

Seungkwan bowed his head
"Subin. Please let him go, even if you like him. Please"

Seungkwan wasn't a possessive friend, but he did care for his friends, a little too much sometimes. He knew that if Seokmin found out, he'd be screamed at. But in this particular moment. He just didn't care.

Instead of answering the boy bowing before her, Subin knocked on the door and went inside.

Seokmin was slipping on his costume blazer when she walked in, he hasn't talked to her in awhile but he missed her. When she walked in he just wanted to hold her.

"Subin h-hey"
"The plays starting, we need to be in the gym by now"
"I'm almost done, do you want to walk togeth-"

Subin began to leave Seokmin mid-sentence. But as she was about to open the door she felt a hand on her wrist and turned her head to Seokmin looking at her, his eyebrows stitched together.

"Seokmin-"
"How long are you ganna keep me waiting Subin?" He said his voice almost strained, his hand began to lower to her hand but let it go entirely when she didn't say anything.

It was quiet until Seokmins voice rang out "Am I not enough?"
Subin reacted quickly to hearing his pained voice "No,nonono y-your more then enou-"

Seokmin grabbed both her hands and stared into her eyes, almost pleading "Then be with me, Subin"

Before Subin could answer, a girl dressed as a tree came into the room "guys we're starting in 4 minutes, hurry up!"

Without warning the tree grabbed Subin and Seokmins arm and began to run to the gym stringing them along.

Subin stroked her apron to ease her nerves. When the tree taps her foot she was to go on stage.

She didn't notice Seokmin standing behind her, he whispered the question "
So where exactly are we?"

Subin didn't look away from the girl dressed as a tree's foot, "Seokmin I-"
Before finishing her sentence, the shoe had tapped and as she was to walk on stage on time. Seokmin held her hand.

"Seokmin I have to go on"
"Just tell me Subin" he loudly whispered "please"

Subin looked over at the stage the students their were repeating their lines and the tree kept tapping her foot.

"I'm sorry" she said as she pulled her hand away and walked on stage, she delivered her lines through the guilt as Seokmins face and voice kept replaying in her head.

School started and I have so much homework and my classes are so long but it's been bothering me because I've kept you guys waiting!!! This story is almost over so I'll start my request book while working on a new story in the back for you guys (^O^)
