"Cassie (Cassandra) Haynes has never really been the one to follow the rules. She breaks them without a second glance and couldn't care less about the threats the teachers gives about sending her away to another school. But that changes when her mother dies after being sick for almost two years.

She can't stand living in their house, where her mother died, or city for that matter. She quickly leaves everything she grew up with, and moves with her seven year old sister to a more secluded area, where she begins at a new school. Here she meets a whole new student environment, and finds herself encountering obnoxious queen bees, nerds and self-centered soccer players. Particularly one player that won't leave her alone.But this doesn't matter to her. She just needs to protect her little sister and earn money so they can afford their little apartment at the end of the city. And how will she do that, you ask? She begins doing the thing she is best at for money. Street fighting."
