As I said, my parents migrated from the Nordic shores just after the viking period. It was a long trip and they did not take to travel at all well. My father got sea sickness and my mother was so cold she had to stay under the deck all cramped up for six months. because they were in a viking boat they were not attacked, just looked at oddly. Because my mother was so cramped for six months she could not walk (or move) so it was very painful for her to get out of her spot, and then my father had to carry her to the ash forest!

This was not at all good for my fathers back and forced him to stay bedridden for the rest of his life. Which meant that mother had to do all the work. By the time i came along my parents were very ill and weak. They dedicated the rest of their lives to teaching me how to survive in the forest. Eventually my parents died after a long and painful life. So i was left on my own to survive in the forest.
