I heard loud chirpings from the right side of my ears, I felt so.. Cold. It was dark, so I open my eyes little by little. Soon, the light enter through and I suddenly realize I was... in a middle of a snowy forest?
I slowly, but painfully, looked to the right. There were trees that seems to go on for miles, telling me that I must be deep in the woods. My head was aching badly, actually my whole body was aching.
Instead of just laying there, I wanted to sit up. But it felt impossible due to my conditions, but I felt determined to do it. So I lifted myself up carefully, not to worsen the aches, and then after minutes I was able to sit up.
I didn't know where I am, but, for some reason it felt so familiar to me. Trying to forget the pain, I stood up. In which I ended up falling flat on the floor again. I felt my eyes tearing up a lot, ready to burst. I remember the last thing that I've done, when I jumped off.
I must be in hell now, people always told me when I finally gave up on Russia. Hell would turn into a cold, winter land. I guess they were right, maybe I deserve this.
Right then, I heard a voice calling my name. Not just any name, but my human name.
"Natalya, where are you?"
No, It can't be.
