Hanging With the Coolest.

Bryce couldn't help but wonder why this man wouldn't give him a name or even a fake one at that. He just used a mark which always left Bryce wanting more answers, especially since the number thing was a fail. It was Friday now and he was sitting on his bed with his binder in his lap as he wrote back on a piece of paper. He was already excited for Monday.

He hated school but this gave it a redo.

Bryce jumped a little when his mother opened the door and gave a warm smile to him. "Honey there is a kid downstairs, Jonathan I think his name is..he's wanting you two to go hangout.." She stated, sweetness holding her voice. "Thanks mom," Bryce said as he stood from his seat. Bryce made his way down and smiled when he seen Jonathan dressed in a dark blue sweatshirt and some jogging pants as well.

"What's up?" He asked, holding the door halfway open. Jonathan only glanced at him before grinning devilishly at him. "Wanna come to the skating park with me?" "What're we gonna do there?" Silence.

Jonathan didn't even know. "Um, skate?" Bryce couldn't help but smile at his friend because he knew he didn't know how to skate and it was obvious. But Bryce didn't have much room to talk because he was in that same boat with his friend. "Alright, what're we waiting for?" He watched as Jonathan smirked at his response which was straight forward. They began their walk down the town.

Bryce let his eyes travel as they neared the gates until they fell on a certain man in a gray bunny hoodie, brown shorts, and a bandana around his neck. He suddenly felt nervous and looked to Jonathan who was smiling. "Hey uh, can we go back?" He asked as he eyed the man in the distance. Jonathan raised a brow at his friend.

"Why?"

It was a question Bryce didn't want to answer for many reasons that were very private to him. He knew it'd only make his friend upset if he ditched him because some guy was there. "Never mind." Bryce muttered, looking to the man they were nearing. The brunette turned around and locked eyes with Bryce before tearing his gaze away from him and locking eyes with Jonathan. "Hey you made it!" His voice sounded forced but Bryce was in shock and didn't even notice what they had said.

Of course he guessed Jonathan would beat him to they guy he liked because this wasn't the first time it's happened. He stayed beside Jonathan when the two broke apart but he found himself staring into Ryan's hazel eyes. "Bryce! I'm happy to see you!" Ryan locked Bryce in a hug and his blue eyes widen at that as he hesitated before hugging him back. "You too man." He said, flawlessly.

If Bryce could tell you how upset he was it'd take him all day just to let you know why. It always happened to him with the same friend over and over again which hurt him honestly. He'd never say though, because he was like that. He just wanted everyone to be happy.

"So you know how to skate Ohm?" Jonathan smirked, elbowing the brunette lightly. Ryan's eyes slightly widen and Bryce couldn't really understand why, had Jonathan said something? It confused Bryce and slightly caught his attention. The brunette let out a nervous chuckle as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Not really, I just thought it would be a cool place to hang out. I mean we aren't too far from the pizza place." Ryan explained.

Bryce felt his heart sink slightly. He could tell they must've been going for a date or somesort and he was just here to third wheel it.

"Ah cool, maybe we should hit that first?" Bryce suggested, throwing his hands in his pockets. He was trying to hide the irritation he had but that level was a little too high to be hidden by tone. Ryan smiled at Bryce and for some reason it made his heart flutter just a little bit. "That's a great idea." Well he had Ryan's approve and Jonathan just eyed Bryce a little too hard before just giving a nod.

"Oh baby!" Ryan grinned as he saw the pizza land on their table. Bryce couldn't help but let a laugh escape his lips when that happened and it caused Ryan to let out a laugh as well. "I love me some pizza." Ryan smirked, tearing a slice from the box and sitting it on his plate.

"I can sure agree with you on that." Bryce agreed, taking a slice from the box. Suddenly a girl came by but stopped when she noticed Ryan then her eyes fell on Bryce. "Hey Ryan! Good seeing you here dude!" The woman seemed to know Ryan well for the casual greet seemed to have Ryan to his feet in no time. "Dude how are you Ashley?"

As the two greeted each other Ryan looked at Jonathan who was just staring down at his food in silence as if Bryce didn't exist. He must've upset him when Ryan started to focus more on him than Jonathan. "Oh Ashley this is-" "Jonathan Dennis!"

Jonathan smiled up at her as he stood up and hugged the woman. Bryce just sat there awkwardly until Ryan gave him a warm smile. "This is Bryce." At his name Bryce stood up to give a hand shake with the woman who only said a quick, "Hi." to him. The three locked in a conversation and Bryce checked the time.

Bryce and Ryan stood at his door. It was silent for a while because the laughter had died down a little. "Well I guess I should leave you too it.." Ryan smiled, backing up a little. "Probably a good idea." Bryce agreed. "At least I can say I got to hang out with mister popular tomorrow."

Ryan stopped dead in his tacks when he heard Bryce say that. He turned around and Bryce waved him off with a wild grin. His heart had began to race.
