Chapter 9

Iv been in the car for I dont know how long, when finally we stop. I'm helped put of the car and in to wherever we are . I'm in blinded to see a tattoo shop.

"What? I'm too young for a tattoo."

"Were not here for a tattoo... Just think. Its something you've wanted for a while... We said you had to be 14 to get it..." my mom said

OMG "You're letting me get my bellybutton pierced?"

She nods her head "yep also June is doing it too!" I hug her tight "Aaliyah and Shawn if you want something you'll have to take it up with your mom but we would be happy to pay for this ocassion." they both shake their heads and start dialing their phones. I assume to call their mom.

"How can I help you today?" asks a lady with huge gages and purple hair.

"We need 2 bellybuttons pierced. And if rather of them are getting anything."My mom says pointing to the mendes'.

"Ok how old are you guys?"

"14 and 22."

     "Ok so you need to fill out these forms for her," she said pointing to me .

     We get everything done  and sorted out. Aaliyah is also getting her bellybutton pierced and shawn is getting his ears done. Now we are just waiting.

     "Ok, Jenna Makoli!"

     I decided to go first because if I think aboutb it ill back out. We all get up and walk back in to the room.

     "I'm ally and I'm going to be piercing you threetoday.  So your going first?"I nod. She just smiles. She said three because shawn is getting his wars done in another room.

     She tells me what to do and what she's doing. She starts off by cleaning the area. Then she marks it and makes shuts it will be center. Here's the scary part. She positions the clamp.

     "Just take a deep inhale and exhale and ill pierce you on the exhale ok?" I nod "ok, deep breath in... And exhale" then I felt just a sharp pinch not to bad. "Slight pressure" she said when she put in the actual jewelry. Finally she sceewed on the ball and cleaned it up. I didn't want to look until everyone else was done too. June and Aaliyah both look amazing. I hope I look that good.

     We each look at the same time and automatically start loving it.

     After we fall out of the trance we get the instructions of proper care.

.......... Shawns pov..........

     I just got my ears pierced and in a private room to make shire no one recognized me and my piercer , Brian, didn't recognize me ether so that's good. I'm waiting for the firls to come out.

Its been a wile so I just decide to go in the room. When I open the door I see all there if them infront of the mirror with their shirts lifted up. They all turnaround. They all look great but one caught my eye. Jenna. Just the little flower on top really sets it apart. I couldn't stop staring and she was standing at me.

..........Jennas pov..........

We all take on last look in the mirror when we heard the door open. We know its shawn so we turn around to show him and see his ears. He looked at June then Aaliyah but his eyes stopped at me. And I can't lie. He looked fine with his ears pierced.

......... Back home..........

"Ok now its my turn!" Aaliyah yells. She hands me a yellow bag

I open it to find best friend stuff. Aww.

     I give her a big hug "thank you!"

      She huggs back and said "now we can't use the bellybutton rings for 6-8 months but we have them when we can."

     "I love it. Thank you so much!"

     "Yay my turn!" shawn shouts. He goes upstairs I assume because hes getting something out of his bag.

     A coupe min later he comes down half way "close your eyes!" I do as um told. I hear him cone down and get infront of me. My mom and sister gasp. Now I really want to know! "Ok, open!"

     I slowly open eyes to see shawn holding the white guitar that I wanted so badly. Is getup and give him a bear hug. I actually start to cry a little bit. I dont know why. My period must be coming soon. He starts rubbing my back. We let go. "Thank you so much." with that I plant a kiss on his cheek, and he turns bright red.

.........Later that night..........

     Aaliyah just fell asleep ans I think shawn and I should do the same. We had a great Tim today. For the rest of the evning we just hung around my house and ate cake. Shawn and I are sitting on my bed.

     "Thank again, for the guitar. You know you didn't have to do that?"

     "I know... I just wanted to."

     "I really appreciate it."He just smiles. "What?"

     "Nothing."

     "No you smiled. Why?"

     All the sudden things got quiet. "I have another birthday present for you."

     "Shawn you don't have to give me anything else. Ok you've already done enough. Seriously," that's when I was cut off by his lips against mine. At first I was surprised but soon kissed back.

     This is the part where people would say they felt sparks or fireworks. But I didn't feel anything. Everything went numb and the world stopped. Like nothing in this world could interfere in this moment.

     When we finally pulled apart he whispered "good night Jenna. Happy birthday."

      "goodnight" he went on the floor with Aaliyah no other words spoken. Soon after I fell asleep with the thought of the most perfect being in this universe.
