Goodbye for now

5 days have passed and I need to go in the morning to see igneel. I'm gonna get a kiss from her before I leave if it's the last thing I do! It was just me and Em tonight.
"Hey Em." I said.
"Yes Cooper?" She said smiling at me while we watched the sun go down.
"I think I'm in love." I said as I leaned in twirls her.
"Oh are you now?" She giggled as she leaned into me too.
Our lips met gentle at first, but soon we were pressing them hard against one another. We both let up. It was our first ever kiss! It was amazing we layer down on the hill.
"Hey Em?" I said.
"Hm?" She looked at me grinning.
"No matter what, don't forget me, ok?" I asked.
She looked at me confused,"why would I ever forget you?!"she said to me sitting up.
"I just don't ever want you to forget me if I have to go one day!" I said trying to reassure her.
"Ok..." She leaned back down and kissed my cheek as she curled up next to me putting her head on my chest. We closed our eyes under the night sky and drifted into sleep. I woke before dawn and gently moved her off of me careful not to wake her. I wrote a note and left it saying"I love you".
I started to cry as I left town knowing I was leaving behind the girl I loved probably never to see her again. But when you are summoned by a dragon, you can't say no....
