It is a windy night. Trees are furiously shaking in the air creating a hollow sound with its rustling leaves. Tiny drops of rain drizzling from the sky fell on Shama's soft skin. Her eyes moved towards the sky and finds it slowly filling with dark scary clouds. A heavy rain seem possible.

Her thoughts are wandering on what she encountered few hours ago. Her cob web like mind is now sticking on to that incident which happened while ago.

Little drops of water which fell on her, is now flowing throughout her, drenching her clothes. Her mind now seem to come to the current world. She realizes that its raining. Her eyes moves from one place to another as if it is searching for something. For hope, maybe.

Helpless Shama thinking where to go and what to do.
Her phone, her bag, nothing to be seen with her. Not a single soul to be seen around.
Only a little dog, but that too is far from sight.
Slowly the whole world started turning gloomy and it started swirling, she couldn't control it. Her eyes too moved with it. Tears which always stick in her heart is now streaming down from her squinted eyes.
Her feet is turning pale as it is rinsed in the water flowing through the path way.
She is slowly turning numb, physically and mentally.

The world around her stops swirling.

Now its not the world, but she finds her mind spinning with voices echoing inside her head.
Image of a girl drags in the air shouting for help, evil laughters can be heard.
The victim's voice seem to haunt her, she couldn't bear it.
She felt everything around her, including herself vanish into the air.

Finally,
she just fell amidst the flowing water with a splash, while it washes the dirts on its way, it could do nothing to the girl who lay unconscious among the dirt with a pure heart and unsolved mysteries in mind.

Shama's eyelids fluttered with difficulty to look upon the world now she is in, as if a butterfly is held by its wings and struggling to fly.

"Alhamdhulillah! You have turned conscious!!"
Open your eyes dear! Its ok! You can open it! Slowly... Slowly...! Don't worry you are safe and fine""
A comforting voice came from the background to Shama's ears.
At a critical moment like Shama's, a consoling voice is a much welcoming one.

"Uh-I can't." Stammered Shama with much difficulty, as if she is speaking after ages, while tears flowing from her eyes. "Try my dear! Its ok.! I believe you can!" Said the voice and Shama felt herself being caressed by a cold hand. It is like a motherly touch for Shama, which she really yearned for.

After a hard fight within her, she did it! She opened her eyes.
She is weak and pale. She didn't know for how long she was unconscious.

Her eyes rested still for sometime and wandered around the place. She couldn't adore the beauty of the little cottage right at the moment, the walls of it were decorated with adorable paintings and it is furnished with ebony furniture, that enhances the house with more antique look. The house, in and out gave a pleasant look.
Shama found an old lady with a pleasant smile seated near her.

Shama is confused and she couldn't return the smile. Shama felt herself in a comfortable cotton cloth. She couldn't find words to thank her. Her mental agony seem to be in a pause temporarily.

"Wh.where am I?" Murmured Shama.
She couldn't feel her voice as she has got sore throat.

"Don't worry dear! You are safe here. I am Sherin and this is my little cottage, me and my daughter live here. Please feel free at home. Let me get you some soup!" Said the kind old lady.

"I am causing you so much trouble!" Said Shama, reluctantly.
The old lady caressed Shama's head with a pitiful smile saying that's ok.

Shama gave a weak smile to show her gratitude.
She couldn't say no to the soup. She badly wants something to fill her stomach which crave for food as she lay unconscious for sometime.

As the lady went to fetch some soup for Shama, she recalls the moment which caused her to this traumatic situation.

Slowly her mental agony returns to her mind.
Her hands started shivering, her body started trembling. Her forehead started sweating even in this rainy season. No. She couldn't bear the agony anymore. Already she is weak and she has returned from death.

Her mind and heart doesn't have the guts to withhold the trauma.
Her heart is beating faster, her breath starts growing heavier, her pulse rate is not uniform.
"Uh-uh.. Auntyy.. Uh- I can't ..brreathe.. I can't breathe..""

Alarmed Sherin by the sound of Shama, runs to her.
"Dear!Dearr! What'ss happening?? Ya Allah! Am I to call the docto.."" Tensed Sherin moves to and fro as the old lady's mind is not good for a quick decision, moreover she, herself is a heart patient.

Quickly she run to the kitchen and returns with a glass of zam zam water.

"Dear, drink it! Drink it dear! You'll be alright! Have a gulp dear." Carassed the old lady and poured the water little by little into Shama's mouth as if she is feeding a little infant, while reciting Surah Fatiha.

Tears started pouring down Shama's eyes.
Shama couldn't understand on what good she might have done in her life to be founded and nursed by such a kind lady with inexpressible hospitality.

Shama's condition is subsiding. Her breath is reducing into normal condition and slowly she falls a sleep. Sherin puts Shama into a comfortable position and covers a blanket above her upto her waist.

Sherin is tensed and puzzled at the same time. She is worried about the young girl who seem innocent and pure, suffering.
Sherin doesn't even know the young girl's name.
She looks at Shama for a while and tears filled her eyes.

"Who can this innocent girl be?
From where is she coming?
What is her background?
What can be the reason behind her traumatic condition?..." Many questions buzzed around the old lady's head.

She is disturbed by a knock on the main door. She knows that its her daughter, the only soul who knocks at the door after returning from work and the only bond she has in this entire world.
Sherin goes to the door and opens it with a forced smile.
"Assalamu alaikum dear!"
