3rd person POV~

"Come on, we have detention." Peter said, using his wand to seal the bag of crisps in his hand.

Walking out to the portrait hole and to the kitchens, Sirius could swear he saw silver hair turn the corner.

He sped up his walking, curious to see who it was or if it was just his imagination.

James tickled the pear to the kitchens as the door opened.

Sirius stopped when he saw who was inside. 

Regulus and Augusti.

He grumbled unhappily as Augusti leaned on Regulus and he wrapped his arms around her.

So boys, well done, you're on time for once." McGonagall says from behind them.

She walks up slowly to the front near Regulas and Augusti.

"You may be asking why these two are here," she starts

"These two were caught snogging on the first floor when they should've been at Herbology. They will be doing duty with you boys, so break any grudges as you will be seeing these faces a lot." She says, walking off.

"Oh, and the elves will tell you what to do." She says smoothly before exiting.

There's an awkward silence and tension is in the air.

Sirius felt sick to his stomach, his brother and the girl he liked were both in detention with him.

"EWW! My mum said snogging leads to STD's!" Peter squeals like a 5 year old.

Regulus and Augusti smother a chuckle in each other's shoulders.

"Peter, first of all don't say stuff like that, and second of all, WHEN WAS THAT A THING AND WHY IS YOUR MUM TALKING TO YOU ABOUT THAT?"Remus blabbers

"What's an STD?" Sirius and James both ask in sync.

"It's when..."

"BE QUIET PETER!"

They others stood looking amused.

"Um Mr's and Miss's? We were told to give you a job, but we do not enjoy sharing our jobs with humans, so if yous would like, there are areas to sit you can take seats and we shall give you food." One of the house elves said.

"OHH FOOD!" Peter squealed before running to the area the elf had pointed towards.

Regulus and Augusti went to one of the corners in the far end of the kitchen, and Augusti took a seat in Regulus lap making Sirius gag.

Was he really that jealous of his brother? 

"Could this mean hours of no work and the teacher think we are serving detention? For an entire week? I'm happy with that." James said, kicking his feet up.

"I'm gonna bring my books next time so I don't waste important study hours." Remus says.

"We can plan some pranks and talk about our Quidditch tactics too. Come, let's sit." Sirius says, trying to forget about the couple.

The boys walk up to the seats Peter is sitting on, as he was stuffing his face with food.

"Peter that's disgusting, calm down!" Remus begs.

From the corner of his eye he can see Augusti and Regulus snogging.

"EWW CAN YOU STOP ITS NOT COOL!" Peter squeals again, like a 5 year old.

The couple break apart, looking livid.

"Regulus you disgusting person, stop!" Sirius says

"What we are doing is our business, not any of yours." Augusti says smirking.

"Well you might have to stop... Uh... snogging, when you're around other people that is, it's gross."James states, disgusted.

"Well we can't do it anywhere else can we?" Regulus says, looking around mockingly.

Their argument had caught many of the elves's attention as they had stopped working and were staring their way.

"Regulus are you stupid? You don't need to be snogging 24/7 okay, do something instead of snogging!" Sirius says loudly, stepping forward.

Regulus gets up and comes closer.

"Sirius don't!" Remus begs.

Before they knew it, Regulus had leapt forward and pranced at Sirius.

Sirius grabbed Regulus's arm, pushed him around and put him in a headlock.

Sirius had always been stronger than him.

Regulus face went red looking as though he couldn't breathe as Sirius let him go.

"Don't try again." Sirius says brushing off his shoulder.

Regulus gets up,"You're jealous I have a good looking girlfriend that makes me more popular, you just ruin people's days with your stupid pranks but I date hot girls." Regulus straight away regretted what he had said.

This time Augusti walked forward, she had a tear rolling down her cheek but she looked angry.

"This whole time I thought I found true love, and I find out you were just using me FOR FAME, JUST BECAUSE IM 'PRETTY'? You're like all the others, you're A JERK, we are over, don't you dare talk to me." She spat, before storming to the door.

"Miss you are not allowed to leave, but shall we give you some calm down food and an area to sit for the rest of the time?" One small elf asked.

"Yes please." She said sobbing.

Regulus gives Sirius a death stare.

"Don't blame me, you're the one who said it." Sirius says, walking off.

"You should've left them alone." Remus said staring at Peter and Sirius.

"Well, it was gross." Peter says

"They needed to know, besides, she found out the truth." Sirius said trying not to smirk.

He saw Augusti sitting crying.

Maybe he had a chance with her now.
