Chapter TWO---Can I love you from afar?

Darryl's POV

"It's Courtney.... Darryl" then she smiled at me...

Darryl, she called me Darryl for the first time. and it hurts kinda... I'm used of her calling me Keith and she's the only one who calls me that.. but I guess I deserved it.. I broke her heart in the first place.. but I love her I really do. And I really want her back. I just don't know how I'm a coward I know. But can you blame me?

I, Darryl Keith Villanueva loves her... my Laine...one day you'll understand why I did this to you.. And if that day comes and you still love me? I will hold on to you forever and I will never let you go...

"Oh I-I'm sorry L- I mean Courtney..." I can't help it she will always be Laine for me... kahit na sabihin na nating mukhang nagbago na nga sya.. para sakin sya pa rin ang Laine na minahal ko at patuloy kong mamahalin...

"Why are you here?" to see you of course... I miss you so much that it hurts so badly... pwede bang dito ka na lang ulit sa tabi ko palagi?

"Tito James called and asked me to accompany you here..."I lied to her...the truth is I persuaded Tito to let me see her today. He is mad at me honestly, but I still insisted

"Bakit ka pumayag?" she's so cold to me and it hurts...really... ganun na lang ba yun kadali Laine, ganun na lang ba kadali mawawala yung nararamdaman mo para sakin? 

"Pumayag na rin ako kasi susunduin ko rin si Leira, uuwi rin sya ngayon from States..."I lied again, well partly.. because Leira is really going back too.. tapos tinitigan ko sya... she's really beautiful. I can't take my eyes away from her...

"Then go to her now... she's your girlfriend right? I can take care of myself. Let's go.."girlfriend? no Laine she.will never be my girlfriend because you're my only girl... but of course I can't tell you that.. tapos umalis na sya kasama bodyguards nya

"You've changed a lot... but you didn't learn from your mistakes..." I don't know if she heard me... but I hope she did... I sighed..I miss her so much.. I want to hug her and tell her how much I love her... but I can't! they took away my right to do that... I'm a coward, I know... but please Laine... Can you just wait for me? Can you please stay beside me? Pero, sino bang niloloko ko? sinaktan kita at alam kong kaya ka umalis dahil sakin... Pero kahit ngayon lang ay hindi pala! kahit forever pa payagan mo naman ako oh! payagan mo ko...

Caithlyn's POV

Well hello there.. I'm here outside the airport waiting for my friend... she's coming back from States and no one will fetch her so I volunteered... she's still my friend even if... Nevermind!

I look around it's still the same here... the last time I've been here was when we saw her leaving, my bestfriend... she left without hearing our explanation.. I can't blame her... she's hurt and-OHMYGHAD!!! is that her? am I hallucinating? no it can't be... she came back, and she's going to my direction.. but she didn't stop. ni hindi nya ko nilingon... Ansakit lang, simula pagkabata magkaibigan na kami pero ngayon? hindi ko alam kung ano na ko para sa kanya...

Ganun ba kalaki ang galit nya? na kahit ako na.bestfriend nya ever since kinalimutan na nya... why? can't you forgive us Courtney?? can't you??

"Hey..." I looked at him... he's smiling but I know it's fake...

" you saw her??" he nodded...

"In fact I talked to her... she called me D-Darryl... funny right... it's funny how she insisted on calling me Keith even if I don't want to and now..."

I stared at him.. he loves her at least I know that... but he has reasons for doing that to her... and I understand him because we're on the same boat...

"do you know that...that she even told me to call her Courtney... but I can't... I mean my heart and mind had known her for being Laine.." 

his eyes is glistening... naaawa ako sa kanya... sa aming lahat sya ang pinakanaipit at nasaktan... kitang-kita namin yun eh! sa loob ng isang taon hindi sya nagbago... hanggang ngayon mahal pa rin nya ang bestfriend ko kaso hindi yun alam ng bestfriend ko... sana lang bumalik na yung bestfriend ko eh... I mean, I want her back I want the true Courtney back... kahit na masaktan pa ko ng tulad ng nangyari sa kanya  ay mali! kahit mas masakit pa dun ang mangyari sakin, basta bumalik lang sya samin... kasi nami-miss ko na sya, sobra!

"Oh!she's here..." tumingin ako sa tinitingnan nya... and yep! she's here... the girl who started it all...

"Lei..."

A/N: Hello readers (kung meronXD) sa totoo lang ito talaga ang first story ko, di ko lang din alam kung bakit nauunang mag-update yung isa hahahah... sorry naman medyo magiging spoiler yung mga story ko sa isa't isa eh...
