Chapter 4 // Arrivals

Budo's POV
"So, breakfast?" I smiled
"Breakfast is on the table." she rolled her eyes
We sat down and ate our cereal at the table, because we just wanted a quick meal. While we were talking Ayano got a text.
"Are you okay?" I asked
"Kinda. My parents are going on holiday again. They leave in 30 minutes."
"Oh, do you want to go say goodbye?"
"No. To be honest I don't. I want to stay here with you."
"If you're sure." I poked her nose
"Thanks Budo."
"For what?"
"For always being there for me. No matter what. You've been there in my lowest lows, and I don't thank you enough. I don't know what I'd do without you." she hugged me tightly
"You're so emotional Aya. You have no reason to thank me, if anything I should thank you. You're a huge breathe of fresh air. So thank you." I hugged her back. When we finished our breakfast we brushed our teeth and got completely ready to go to Kokona's.
We finally sat down on my bed when we both received a text message.
Kokona: Hiya loves~ Kokona here! Can you arrive ASAP? I have some plans! See you soon, byeee <3
"Kokona?" I asked
"Yea, must've been a group message."
"Lets go." Ayano said grabbing my hand and pulling me up.
I gathered some stuff that I would need and put some black shoes on. Ayano put her shoes on and we left. Kokona's house was on the richer side of town, unlike me and Ayano who weren't poor, but weren't rich either. So we lived in the middle class areas. Kokona however, has famous relations. I think she said something about a girl called Teto?
"Woah. The houses around here are huge." Ayano looked around like a child in a candy store
"Yeah I know. I'd love to get one of these one day."
"Okay, then lets make a deal. One day we have to buy a really big house to live in." Ayano held up her pinky finger so I linked mine with hers
"That sounds really nice. Deal."
"That one is Kokona's." she pointed a few houses down
"Damn. You've been here before?"
"Yeah. Me, Kokona, Saki and Yui have sleepovers here a lot."
"Nice." I smiled as we arrived at the door. Ayano did a weird secret knock and it was followed by some girly screaming from inside. Kokona and Saki ran and opened the door, leaping towards Ayano and giving her a huge hug.
"Can't.. breathe..."
"Hi Yan-Chan! Hello Masuta-kun!"
"Hey girls." I smiled
"Is anyone else here?" Ayano asked
"Just us and Hayato." Saki replied
We all went in and sat down in the lounge. We all had to sit on one couch, since Hayato was laying on the other one.
"Did you guys not bring any sleeping bags?" Hayato asked
"Oh shit." Ayano realised
"Fuck."
"It's okay, I have some air beds and blankets upstairs." Kokona smiled
"Thanks Kokona." me and Ayano smiled back at her
"Hayato, come help me." Kokona asked
"Say the magic word!"
"Hurry up you little shit." she grabbed his hand and pulled him off the couch
"Close enough." Hayato laughed as they ran upstairs
*DING DONG*
"I'll get it!" Ayano walked to the door. Saki pulled out her phone and texted someone super quickly before moving closer to me
"Spill it. Are you two a thing or not?" Saki whispered
"We're just close friends Saki." I rolled my eyes
"Bullshit. I can tell you have feelings for her."
"My feelings towards Ayano are irrelevant. We're just friends."
"Aww so you do like her!" she said poking me teasingly
"Yeah alright shut up. What's taking her so long?" I turned around so Saki couldn't see me turning red
"Look, I'm not going to say shit. And she's being distracted so I can talk to you. You should talk to her. I think she likes you, but she's way too shy and doesn't want to lose you."
"You think so?" I said looking back at her slowly
"Oh so now you're interested?"
"Just shut up and help me."
"On one condition."
"What?" I sighed
"Admit it."
"Fine, I like Ayano. I really like her. You happy?"
"Happy as a guitarist in a music store!" she smiled, "You need to romantasize her today as much as possible. Then Tuesday confess to her."
"Romantasize?" I asked
"You know, be more flirtatious than you already are. When everyone arrives we're going to get ice cream, so buy her something she'll like. I don't know. Just do what you two do normally but times it by 10."
"Fine. Thank you." I murmured quietly
"Your welcome. By the way, Kokona knows and is helping you too."
"Oh brother."
Ayano came in followed by Mina and Sho. Kokona and Hayato came down the stairs with some stuff.
"We just have a double air bed, but I figured since you guys are so close it wouldn't really matter." Kokona smiled at me
"That's fine, but I'll be right back. I need the bathroom." Ayano smiled and rushed away. Kokona and Saki both talked to me with Mina and the boys talked.
"This was your plan? Me and Ayano always sleep in the sa-" I paused, realising I just fucked up
"Awwwwwww!" they both said in unison
"Tell her I said that and I will get Mina to beat the shit out of you."
"Calm down, it's just cute. Your secret is safe with us."
"Yeah, chill. Besides, there's more."
"Nice jacket. Not really your usual style. It's as if someone else picked it out for you, oh wait.."
"Kokona don't tease him."
"Hey guys, what are we talking about?" Mina sat on the arm rest
"Ayano." I said embarrassed, "Mina knows." I told Kokona and Saki
"Oh, okay."
"I'm back, I would have been quicker but I need a map in this house.." Ayano returned
*KNOCK KNOCK*
That must be Haruto.
"Hey everyone, sorry I'm late. I would have come sooner but I got a little lost."
"Okay, now everyone's here, let's go!"
