The Beginning

I couldn't explain what actually happened, but it did. So here's my story. It was a Wednesday and our school had a science fair. The 8th grader was presenting his project, everything was going well...until everything went black.

I remember waking up at the hospital having no clue what just happened. I saw one of the doctors and I asked him, "What happened?" He said nothing and walked away. Finally, a police man came up to and said, "You're lucky", which only got me more confused. "Excuse me, what are you talking about?" I replied. The police men explained, "Don't you know that the school is in lock down? When one of the science projects exploded, it released a virus that turned everybody there into...." My face started getting pale as I got more nervous about what he was about to say, "...into what?" He stood quite for a minute then he said...
