Abby's P.O.V.

"PETER!" I screamed out while hugging his body.

I heard Marco, Ochoa, and Vanny running towards me.

"Abby....", Marco's voice cracked.

"He's dead", Ochoa said calmly.

"NO he is not!" I shouted at her, refusing to believe what I've just been told.

"Abby he is! Look at him. He's dead and you cannot save him!" Ochoa said angrily.

"I did everything I could do... okay?! Don't blame me for his death!" I snapped back at her.

Why is she blaming me for Peter's death?...wait I'm not even sure if he is dead. He could still be alive.

"I'm not saying I'm blaming you for his death, but you're putting our lives in danger by wanting to save our classmates but look what it's leading to."

I didn't mean to hurt anyone, but Ochoa had a point.

"Abby don't be ru-" Marco began to say when I cut him off.

"She's right", I said while trying to hold back the sobs I could feel trying to come up in my throat.

"No she's not", Marco defended me.

"Marco, she's right. I'm just putting your lives in danger. I should not be that selfish by keeping you here. So, I'm going to take us out of this hell hole."

Marco stepped in, "No i'ts not your fault! We agreed on this. Don't go blaming yourself", he said frustrated.

"Marco...please don't make this harder than it is", I told him.

I then came to realize that I was still hugging Peter's body. When I let him go, I gave him a kiss on his cheek and said "Goodbye Peter" into his ear.

"I'm sorry Abby", everyone turned to say to me.

I stood up and I walked away from them. I lost the person I cared for the most and I couldn't believe he was gone. I walked until the stairway ended and I fell on my knees to begin to cry my eyes out. It's my fault Peter is dead and I would never be able to forgive myself.

Whether you want to hear it or not, the truth sucks.

*Abby's Flashback*

I still remember the day I met Peter. It was a sunny warm day when my life collided with his.

I was walking around the park on a Saturday morning when I accidentally bumped into a guy because I wasn't paying attention where I was walking. When I turned around I saw those sparkling eyes and that smile that could light up the world around me.

"I'm sorry..." I said nervously.

"No it's okay. It's my fault, I wasn't looking where I was walking", he chuckled.

I know I was blushing but I couldn't stop staring at him. I realized a minute passed before either one of us began to say something.

"I've never seen you here before?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm new here. Sorry I got to go", he rushed that second part.

Before I could say anything to him, he vanished through thin air. When I turned around to start walking back home, I saw a card that he must've dropped. It was a hospital card, nothing fancy or important, but when I turned it around it had writing that said...

"If you want to be in it. You have to prove it to me" -BAD E

This was odd...who's BAD E? I had so many questions in mind that day. Weeks passed and the kid never returned to the park and what killed me the most was that I didn't even know his name. After a month passed, the first day of school came around and we had two new students. I never expected that one of them would be one of my closest friends, Kezia. To be honest, I didn't know we had another new kid because I was focusing on Kezia. After two weeks, I finally noticed the new kid and I couldn't believe it...
