I hear my alarm blaring on my bedside table, I reach out and turn it off grumbling to myself.

It's first day of Senior year yay!

I get up and walk over to the bathroom looking at my pale skin in the mirror.

I can't tan like everyone else because I burn easily, my life blows.

I brush my teeth while I check my phone for messages and snaps.

I plug my phone in and go take a shower, I wash my hair and walk over to my wardrobe deciding to wear a black and white striped skinny jeans and a light blue tank top.

I'm about to leave when I remember Isabella warned me to dry my hair this time.

I drop my bag on the floor and blow dry my hair then put it in a low ponytail before picking up my backpack and heading out

Immediately I enter the kitchen I'm hit with the sweet smell of bacon, toast and scrambled eggs.

I see my mom standing in the kitchen making breakfast, two plates are already set on the table.

"Morning mum! I'm starving" I tell her coming in and sitting down on one of the stools in the kitchen and start eating.

My mom brings over 2 glasses, one filled with orange juice, the other with grape juice.

"Morning hun" she tells me dropping the orange juice in front of me and the Grape in front of Alexa's plater it's her favorite.

"You excited for senior year?" Mom asks sipping her coffee.

"Nah! Not really I guess, it's just the same set of people again, so no I'm not excited" I tell her.

"Hmm well honey just have fun during senior year okay?" She tells me.

"Yeah mom I will, I promise" I tell her putting a fork of scrambled eggs in my mouth.

We both turn to the staircase where we hear footsteps bounding down the stairs at full speed.

"Morning family!" Alexa yells as she appears at the foot of the staircase.

She goes to a private school with a uniform, white button up long sleeved shirt with a black mid thigh skirt, black tie and white knee high socks.

She goes over kisses my mom on the cheek as my mom smiles laughing at Alexa's energy.

She comes over and hugs me. "Hey kiddo!" That's what I call her sometimes. "Why so happy? Is the fifth grade that exciting?" I ask her amused by her.

"No but everyday I draw closer to finishing grade school and that's a dream come true for me". She tells us stabbing her fork in her omelet.

I start to laugh. "Oh darling enjoy your grade school days" I tell her finishing off my juice and getting up.

"Nah I wanna be a senior! Like you Santa!" My sister calls me Santa, it's cute.

"Well until then enjoy you're time In grade school! I'm off bye guys" I tell Alexa and my mom before picking my bag and walking out.

I get in my red Mini Cooper which is parked in the driveway, I got it as a gift on my sweet sixteen from my dad who lives in New York with my step family.

I get in and see my black bomber jacket, I've been looking for in my car in the passenger seat.

I put it on before driving to school, I get to school In twenty minutes flat.
