She lightly connected her fingertips to the opposing hand of her partner. Making a quick gaze into her partner's eyes, she looked away, only to drag her partner faster and farther along the beach into the evening light.
Each step the partner took, had felt like heaven.. She never wanted this feeling of being 'together' to stop. All these years she had been alone. But finally, she got the chance to be with her. Every foot traveled as she clenched harder onto her partner's hand made her heart beat faster. This feeling in her chest was something she wanted to keep forever. This feeling of joy, and love..
She had to tell her something she always wanted to tell her partner in person... she finally had the chance...
As both girls ended up finding themselves deserted in the middle of the beach, they sat down in the soft sand to admire the atmosphere around them, and only them, had it felt like.
This was the last day they had together. Every moment on the beach they took in as an eternity, every glistening color in the far off sunset they wanted to take in.
As one of the girls continued looking into the setting sun's colors, her partner wanted to look at something even more beautiful. Something sittin in the sand right next to her. Stroking her partner's arm, her heart ached, and not just from being pulled along the beach. Her partner needed to know. Before it was too late..
"We only have this day... who knows if this would ever happen again... this could be our last or only chance.." her voice cracked as she grabbed hold of her partner's hand once more.
The partner stopped looking at the sun to only look into her mate's eyes. They were dark brown, like the ground compared to her majestic blue eyes of the ocean, and connecting both eye looks is like the earth connecting in harmony. She listened to the saddening tone of her mate, and feeling the same woeful emotion, she could only bring herself to let "I know.." escape her lips.
The mate looked into her partner's eyes. She knew they were like the sea next to them. Every twinkle in her eye holds the reflection of the galaxy like the sea does itself. Hypnotising as it is, she remembered her words, and finally brought the courage to tell her partner before the moment was over.."I..."
Her partner inched closer so she could hear the words as best as she could, to remember forever. She had a feeling she new what her mate would say, and her feelings back were positive."I love you... So much... I really do.. I really love you... a lot..." escapes the girl's lips, the girl turning redder by the second of worry for what her partner would say back... Yet she felt relief that her words were able to be said. As the partner's mate sat waiting for a reply, it seemed as if the world had stopped.
The girl's partner looked at all of her mate. Her beautiful face, her body, her everything, before saying "I love you too" with a cheery grin.
The partner felt like she new what would and should happen next, and both girls leaned closer, starting to feel each other's air.
But as the moment was about to strike gold.. The girl had woke up.
It had felt so.. Real...
She looked at the calendar to the left of her bed, only to see that the day she would see her partner would take a long... long time. It would be difficult for her dream to come true. But she knew someday it could be possible. She lastly opened her phone to read the last message she received before she passed out earlier,
"I love you too..."
Before collapsing her pounding head back into her pillows, in an attempt to relive the dream again...
