The Chosen Ones

CHOSEN ONES { 10 }.

   Anne's Pov.

  I imagined looking flustered after what went on in the infirmary.

   "Well isn't someone looking a bit red around the corner". I heard Dax's voice behind me.

   I turn round and see him grinning like a Cheshire Cat.

   "None of your business". I said.

    "Okay, Okay, but don't say I didn't tell you but you guys might just end up mates". He looked at me with a serious expression and his tone of voice didn't show his was joking.

   I blushed hard at his statement and give him a playful punch on his shoulders.

   "Ouch". He said,grinning.

    "I'm going to head over to my room to change. I'm wet with tears and snow demon blood. You were quite dirty in your fights". I said turning round towards the direction of my room.

    "I bet that's not the only thing you're wet from". He sang playfully. I blush deeply catching his meaning.

        I sprinted to my room embarrassed. The Griffo knew how to play with people's emotions  and it seemed Dax was no different.

        I got into my room and slammed the door. I slumped to the ground, images of me and Rex make out playing through my mind. I unconsciously rub my lip with my thumb,still feeling the throbbing sensation and his sweet taste. So sweet.

      So he kisses well. That doesn't mean we're going to end up mates as Dax said.  My wolf voice came.

    A frown makes its way to my face at her statement. But being in love with each other could be enough. I snapped.

        You call that love! That's lust! I will not let you frollick with a guy that's not our mate. She barked.

       A sharp pain goes through my head and I nearly pass out. I knew what she was doing and I wasn't going to let her to.

       Dana, please. I pleaded with her.

        No. She snapped.  I will not allow this.  Her anger spread pain through my body. Black dots began to cloud my vision. I was passing out. She was taking control.

          "Dana, please. What do you hope to be able to do? " I asked, my voice hoarse with pain.

             You'll see.  She replies.

             Finally I pass out.

           I open my eyes to and looked round. I was still in my room. My view goes towards the door and I walk towards it.

      My view changes as it turns and moves towards the infirmary. I felt myself walking towards it.

        Dana, please!  I pleaded. I tried making a connection with her but she blocked. I could only watch through her. I had no control over my body or  my actions, Dana did.  I knew what she wanted to do but I knew her plan wouldn't fall through.

         Keep thinking that. Dana's voice came.

          You aren't thinking clear. I answered.  You forget that my eyes glow different colours whenever you take control. Whenever our wolves takeover, our eyes glow. Although there's a different color shade when we do it intentionally. When our Wolf is in control there is a mixture of two colours.

     My eyes turn bright blue when I intentionally go Wolf. But when Dana is in control it's a deeper shade of blue with silver specks.

        I already took care of that.  Dana replies.

         What?  I asked.

          You, my dear have a lot to learn.  A grin in her voice.

           What did you do?  I asked my voice grim.

            Every Wolf can control how your eyes glow. I can show myself in a totally normal form. None being the wiser.  She chuckles slightly.

             So what are you going to do?  I asked.

             Going to break you guys up. Hard. She answered.

             I grew horrified and restless in Dana's mind. Please. Don't do this.  I pleaded. Tears in my voice.

             I'm sorry, but I can't let this be. She stated.

          I kept watching as Dana controlled my body to the infirmary.

          She knocked the door and entered. Our gaze met Rex and his eyes began glowing with specks of gold.

       The same words escape Rex mouth, that come out of my mouth but not my words.

        "Mine".

            How's this possible?  Dana asks with disbelief. I came here to break up with him and he turns out to be our mate.

           My mate. I said sternly.  You wanted to reject him.

           I wanted to break up with him not reject him.

           Rex's eyes goes red and he growls loudly. A evil grin playing on his face. "You're going to regret ever thinking if that, mate".

            Dana whimpered at the sound of his voice. I knew it wasn't Rex talking but his wolf. He was angry at the fact that Dana wanted to reject him and I was shivering with fear.

            Dana chose that moment to give me control over my body. I took a step backwards as Rex approached me. He had a dark red aura around him that frightened me out of my wits.

        "Listen to me", I pleaded, "She didn't know you were our mate. Rex! "

          "It's Drex". He growls.

          "Drex, you've got to listen me. She didn't know. We would never reject you and Rex if you were our mate". I pleaded.

            "We always felt something about you". He spoke, his eyes going soft. " First, it was Rex endless crush and then it was the dreams. You were always there and you meant something important to us in every single one.  Then my reaction whenever you both kissed. I always felt it but I couldn't recognize the bond. It's not uncommon for a wolf to feel attracted to someone who's not its mate but it was different. You're mine. You're truly mine".

            My heart fluttered at his words. "I accept you Drex and Rex as my mate." I declared. "Dana too". I added.

            He smiles and kisses my lips shortly. "I've got to go". He stated. "Rex wants control. Love you".

          Rex eyes stopped glowing and I'm staring at his light crimson eyes again.

          "Why did she want to reject me? " . He asked, sounding hurt.

            "She wanted us soldely for our mate but now she knows it's you. You're the one made for us". I explained gently caressing his cheek.

             "You're the one made for me too". He replied, smashing his lips on mine, filling me with his taste, making my body crave for more. I wanted more.

            "When do we announce this? ". He asks when he pulls away from me.

             " Right now". A grin on my face.

           Stretching his hands towards me he asks, "Shall we? ".

          A slight chuckle escapes my lips. "Yes we shall".

         And together we walked out to announce the beginning of something new.
