Disclaimer: I still don't own Marvel or Blue Exorcist.

No one's POV:

"I'll go."

The Avengers and Nick turn to the youngest in the room. There they saw Rin. She had her right hand raised, back straight, head held high and a serious look on her electric blue eyes. The others looked at each other, uncertain if they should send the youngest.

"I'm not taking no for an answer. I'm going and if anyone objects, so help me I will sick a pack of coal tars to bother you for a month." she said. She sat with her arms crossed, and her eyes showed she was not backing down.

They all sighed internally. They knew there was no stopping Rin once she made up her mind. They were all thinking the same thing, 'She is so much like Natasha a.k.a The Black Widow.' Even Natasha saw herself in Rin at that moment. They may not have been related by blood, but the resemblance between the two, the fire in their eyes, was unmistakable.

The silence was interrupted by Fury, who had sighed out loud. With that everyone in the room turned their attention to the Director.

"Fine, Phoenix, suit up. You too will head to Asgard immediately while the rest of you figure out where these mysterious creatures are coming from and find Dr. Strange! Now get to work." Fury said with a commanding voice. Everyone agreed to the plan but as they were about to head out, one of the agents walked in.

"Director Fury, sir, apologies for interrupting, but Spiderman is calling in for Pheonix, sir." the nameless agent before dismissing himself promptly. Toni immediately connected Spiderman's video call from her watch to the big screen where the group had been reviewing the only picture they had of the  mysterious creature from New Mexico.

"Sorry to interrupt, but we have a situation that needs Rin's attention."

Spiderman angled the camera on her watch to show four figures walking out of a portal.

Silence filled the room. Yukio, Bon, Konekomeru and Shiemi stood at the mouth of the portal, talking to someone on the other side. Then, the portal closed and the Exorcist and his 3 students walked through the alleyway into the street.

The Avengers and Director Fury turned to Rin, who had made her way over to the group of adults, staring at the screen with a blank face. It was hard for even Natasha, who had known the girl for the longest time, to read the thoughts behind her motionless expression.

"I'll deal with this." Rin said. "I'm sorry but my trip will have to be delayed a bit. Is that okay, Thor?"

"Of course, Lady Phoenix. I will meet you at the Avengers Tower for our departure when you have finished your business."

"Thank you, Thor. Now if you'll all excuse me, I am going to go have a...conversation....with a certain group of idiots."

With that, Rin stormed out of the room, her long dark hair flowing behind her with wisps of blue flames trailing behind her. The group watched the young halfling in silence, which lingered a moment after she had left the room.

"Well..." Clint finally said, turning everyone's attention on him. "...I guess we got our answer, even without asking her."
