Matt's pov- 3 days after our baby was born, we could take her home.
Gabby placed Lilliana in her car seat and we left.
Once we arrived, I helped Gabby out of the car and then went to the other side of the car and got Lilliana out. I carried the car seat and held Gabby's hand. Once inside, I sat the car seat down. "Welcome home, Lilliana!" Gabby said. "Gabby, go sit down. I'll take Lilliana up to the nursery." "Thanks Matt!" And she walked to the couch and sat down. I picked up the newborn and carefully carried her up to the nursery. I placed her in her crib, turned on the baby monitor, and went back downstairs.
"Matt, I think you should start work again tomorrow." Gabby said to me. "Are you sure? Won't you need my help here?" I asked. "I don't think so. I know most times both parents take a lot of time off, but I will drop by with Buggy." (An- Lilliana's nicknames are Sissy, LillyBelle, Bug, Buggy, and Monkey)
"If you think so, I will!" I told her. "Besides, there's not much you can do with her right now other than hold her and change her diaper since I nurse her." "Yeah, you're right."
Soon, the baby monitor went off and Gabby walked upstairs to take care of the baby, and I started some lunch.
