Little Maria trailed behind the group, a small aura of sadness lingered around her. Mike, Violet, Justin, Viola and Augustino walked beside her, calming her down and attempted to do some jokes to make her laugh. No reaction. Not until Snowy barks at a certain person by the hallway.
"Hello Dr. Wonka." Charlie greeted.
Dr. Wonka waves with a smile... Until he sees little Maria... He slowly walked towards her before crouching down and placing his hand on her shoulder.
"Hello again little Maria..." Dr. Wonka said sweetly.
Little Maria could manage a smile, a small one. She's glad that he's still there. Dr. Wonka smiles back.
"How have you been? I haven't seen you since your eldest sister got pregnant the third time." Dr. Wonka asks.
"Let me guess. Leiah jumping on your bed again? Did she started causing another one of those occasional messes? Or was it because she kept on running around the house whenever you bathed her?" He asks playfully.
Little Maria chuckles as the funny memories. That causes them to smile warmly. Dr. Wonka stands up with a triumphant smile and a triumphant laugh.
"HAHAHA!!! There's that smile I remembered!" Dr. Wonka said triumphantly.
Jack actually stayed behind to look after the Inventing Room. He said that he needed to fix something on the double. So in his place, Dr. Wonka joined in the tour of the factory.
The group were lead down the corridor as they ask several questions to them, little Maria just stayed quiet and behaved herself. It wasn't until she sees another licorice rope of the same thickness and color did she realize that one of them is going to be caught in the trap in their destination. The rope was tied rather loosely on its hook. It was tied on one end like a little noose and she manauvered her way around the rope with the help of the previous golden ticket winners and Mia. Charlie and Mr. Wonka of course, stopped to buy them some time as the others are blissfully unaware of what's happening behind them. Once the rope was loose, Augustus carefully and quickly tied the rope around the others, making sure it's loose enough for easy access. Once it was on Augustus, Violet, Veruca and Mike, they gave the signal for them to move on. The 7 of them never dared to breathe a word about what happened until that event happened already.

They were lead into the Nut Room where Mr. Wonka and Charlie explained the new ad-on's in the room.
"Squirrels!" Veronica cried out with glee.
The furry creatures are getting the nuts out of their shells and placed them into the conveyer belt behind them.
"Yes indeed. No one can get whole walnuts out of their shells all the time, but squirrels can." Mr. Wonka explains.
"Daddy, I want a squirrel! Get me a squirrel!" Veronica shouted at her father.
"Uh oh." Little Maria muttered softly to herself.
Wanting to hear no more of it, she looks around the room. She spies a few things. And then her eyes landed on the hook above the hole in the floor. She then moves fast, silently telling Augustus to untie the rope and swing it over above the chute. He and the others worked fast as Mike gracefully swings the rope over to the hook, effectively latching it on into a tight knot. And then she hears something that made her blood ran a bit cold. She could only wait for her signal as she watched what was happening below them.
