"Are both of you ok back there?" My mom asked. "It's going to be cold in South Korea so wear a jacket!" My mother warned. 5 months had passed since my mom found out my dad was cheating on her, and the divorce had been settled. I was devastated, the man I had looked up to for so long, for his courage, bravery, and honesty had ripped my mothers heart out. I had cried for many days and nights hoping it was all a bad dream, but each time I woke up in this same dream. Now the comfy life I lived was turned upside down completely. I have to leave the friends I have, the school I know. " I didn't even know you had friends Victoria!" My mother said questioning my social life. "I have friends mom" I said irritated " correction you have A friend" my pesky twin brother said. I stared at my brother, but before I could say anything my brother spoke "just stop Victoria, you just got roasted". I put my earbud in and stared out the car window.
As I was listening to my music my brother tapped me on my shoulder, and I realized I had fallen asleep."yes" I said groggily " we're here"
