"Mom!! I'm late, I'm late" I said running out of my room. I had stayed up late the night before watching episode after episode of my favorite kdrama. I grabbed my book bag and ran down the stairs, but being the clumsy mess I am,
half way I slipped and rolled the rest of the way. As I started to get up I saw my brother. "man! I wish I had caught that on video!" He said threw bursts of laughter. "Steven! Don't laugh at your sister! Today is her first day of high school, how do you feel Victoria?"
"Both my eyes are twitching, my stomach feels itchy, my hairs a mess, and my right hand won't stay still" I responded in a concerned tone. "And you have your shirt on backwards" my mother said laughing. I checked my phone again and nearly fainted " mom we have 10 minutes to get to school or I will be late on the first day!" I said rushing to the door. " I didn't know you could go to school without shoes on" my brother said mockingly. I looked down at my fluffy pink socks.
I rushed upstairs and grabbed my Black Converse, took one last look in the mirror, noticed how ugly I looked and rushed back down stairs.
"I'm ready" I said slamming the door from the outside.
'My fist day at a new school, with people I didn't know, and if it wasn't enough I am a social outcast' I thought doubting my self confidence. 'Oh well here goes nothing' ......
