Lucas' POV
Weeks and weeks of not sleeping because of arguing parents.

AFTER A WEEK
My parents got divorced and only my friend Maya knows. She is the only one I can talk to in one of these because she understands these things.

She was in my house super early, so we both can pick up Riley. (Okay that rhymes)

We knocked on the bay window and just got in without Riley's permission.

"Hey guys!!" Riley practically shouted at me and Maya

"Riley you almost broke both of our eardrums!!!" Maya then shouted at her

"Well then im sorry!!!" Riley shouted back

"Would you both please stop shouting!!" I shouted at both of them

"Sorry" they said in unison

"C'mon lets get to school" Maya suggested

"Okay" Riley and I said in unison

AT SCHOOL
Maya's POV
I almost forgot that Lucas will be angry when people shout. He doesn't like it because his parents always shout at eachother so he probably got traumatized.

"Lucas can I talk to you for a second?" I asked him

"Sure" we went to the part of school where people rarely come.

"Lucas why?"

"Why what?"

"Dont play dumb with me!"

"Alright fine. I never told anyone else because you're the only one I could count on these things" he told me

"And is there anything else??"

"And because..."

"Because what"

"Because I like you" he finally let out

I stood there without saying anything. I didnt move I couldnt even say anything then I let it out "Lucas I-" then he ran off.

I chased after him and I felt like I was tired so I stopped and everything went dark.

TIME SKIP
I then opened my eyes to see I was in the clinic.

"Maya im so glad you're awake!" Riley pounced at me

"Maya do you know you have asthma?" Farkle asked

"Yeah but that doesn't matter right now and where is Lucas?"

"Well we found Lucas walking and we asked where you where. He thought that you were with us already so he got worried and found you collapsing, he caught you before you fell to the ground and brought you here" Riley explained I can feel my cheeks burning at the thought of Lucas bringing me here.

"You like him dont you" Riley teased me

"Well where is he?" I asked again getting up and changing the subject

"I think he went home" Farkle said

"You're going after him arent you?" Riley asked

"What else" I said to them and we left the clinic then we said our goodbyes and I went to Lucas' house.

I rang the doorbell and Lucas' mother opened the door "Oh hi Maya nice to see you again"

"Its nice to see you again too"

"Lucas is in his room so just knocked on his door"

I did what I was told and Lucas opened it.

"Maya what are you doing here?" Closing the door behind him

"I want too tell you something I should've said earlier"

"What is it?"

"I like you too"
