Adrien's POV

When I got home, I flopped onto my bed tiredly. Sighing, I put my arm over my eyes.

Then I felt something warm on them.

Lifting my arm, I saw that Marinette had left a new message.

Hey there. So I guess you like to play hide and seek, huh? Two can play it that game ;) but I'll keep hoping that you reply. No pressure, but I'm dying to know who you are. See you any day, from this little ladybug.

I smiled at those words. Gathering up any courage I had, I took off one of the gloves that hid the ring and I pressed onto it.

Then I spoke.

"You wanna play hide and seek then? Let's see if you figure it out, M'lady." I let go of the jewel and let it send. Sighing happily at finally responding, I tossed on my pajamas and went to bed.

Little did I know what would happen the next day.

Marinette's POV (short)

After I sent that message I didn't think I'd get one back.

But I did.

And I squealed right after.

So I guess that he already knew who I was, so he wanted me to figure out who it was.

This will take some work but I think it'll turn out fine.

I put on a black loose tank top and little red shorts and went down for dinner.

We had homemade French fries with chicken nuggets that could be made on our own to eat.

Giving a thankful smile to my mom, I turned to my plate and dug into the delicious food.

Back to Adrien~

I woke up to my alarm buzzing in my ears. I groaned and sat up.

That stupid alarm was still going off. "Shut up!" I slammed my hand on it, turning it off.

Sometimes it can just get me really angry.

I got up and went to the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth.

Once I was out, I wore my usual jeans but decided wearing another form of top wouldn't be too bad.

I took out a grey T-shirt and black Converse to go with the whole thing.

Then I put on my gloves, which were kept next to my alarm so I wouldn't forget about them.

"Adrien, breakfast is ready!" Nathalie called from outside. "Coming," I yelled back. I walked out the door and went down the stairs to where the hugest dining table sat.

My plate was all the way at the end, where I usually eat alone and get up to leave right after.

I still wonder why we have such a big table, let alone a huge mansion. I'd really just prefer a cozy, normal home where you know where you're going and you don't have to feel so lonely.

When I was done with breakfast I called to Nathalie that I was walking today.

I trudged out the door and went to the front of the school to meet up with my friends. When I got there I waved to Nino who was talking to Alya. "Hey guys!"

"Hey Adrien!" They said together.

"Where's Marinette?" I said, looking around since she wasn't here.

"Oh she's probably running late. She did say she was going to come, but guess she's still asleep." Alya said with a smile, shaking her head. I just chuckled at how she was so often late.

"OH I GOT IT! How about we go in and surprise her?" She jumped up.

"Sounds like a moment to remember," Nino smirked, waving his phone in the air. They looked to me to see what I had to say about it. I just shrugged and replied, "Why not?"

They smiled to each other and walked to her house across the street.

Walking into the bakery I immediately caught onto the smell of croissants. "Morning Tom, Sabine! We came to wake Marinette up, is that fine?" Alya said.

The one I believe was Sabine smiled and nodded her head, letting us go up to her room.

When we got to her door, Alya put a finger over her lips, signaling to be quiet. We nodded and she slowly opened the door.

We tipped-toed up her loft and Alya counted down with her fingers. Nino had his camera ready and positioned.

Three, two, one...

I grabbed a frying pan that just so happened to be on the floor and started banging it and a spoon together while Alya yelled, "WAKE UP!!!!"

Marinette screamed and fell on the floor, leaving us also on the floor dying of laughter.
