The Ballerinas (Choka)

Ballerinas swirl

Gracefully across the stage

Ever beautiful.

See them flit on pointed toe

Arrayed in the pure white.

Gracefully a leap and bound

On one foot she lands.

Long tutu from yesteryears

Just like Anna Pavlova.

~ Choka: starts like a Haiku syllable pattern of 5,7,5 but with stanzas of 7,5 7,5, etc. ending usually with 7,7. © Timothy 16 November, 2013 ~
