"That's it!" I said smiling. Maggie was punching a wall, it was padded though. Amber was watching from behind me. "Your not teaching her correctly." Dad said walking in. "She's only 7, I'm not gonna kick her ass until she can't stand." I said glaring at her. Maggie dented the wall. "My knuckles hurt." She said turning around. "Take a break." I said. She nodded and followed Amber.

Dad crossed her arms. "That's how I was taught, and look at me. Not a scratch!" She said grinning. "Except for your arm." I said. She smirked. "Yours is fucked up too." She said tapping my metal arm.

"At least we're not as lop sided as Chess. She lost an ear." I said. Dad laughed. "I wasn't gonna say anything earlier, but she looks retarded." Dad said.

"What was that?" I turned to Louis and Rocket. "Hey guys." I said nervously. Dad ran a hand through her hair. "Don't talk shit Yin." Rocket said clawing my cheek. I nodded. Check was holding her leg. She winked at me and I took a step back. "Where are we going?" Check asked. "To see Chess?" I asked. Rocket nodded. I sighed. "Let's go." I said with a serious expression.

"Wait for me!" I got tackled by Maggie. She has cat ears and a bunny tail. Her hair is brown but lightens to a blonde at the tips. Check looks like Chess but smaller and with both ears.

I looked behind her at Amber, she shrugged. "Okay, you can come this time." I said. She grinned. I stood up and put her on my shoulders. She squealed and giggled. Amber held my hand on our way there.

Once we got to the door I put Maggie down and she held my other hand. "Greeting Mrs. and Mrs. Scarlatina Adel Belladonna Xiao Long." Rue said. I smiled. "Hey Rue." He face palms. "Formalities are important!" He scolded. "I'm also important." I said grinning.

"I'll only let you through if you use formalities." He said crossing his arms. "Okay Rudolf Schnee Ross let us through." I said mocking him. "It's Rose not Ross!" He yelled. He put on his hood and sat down. "I give up, just go." He said shaking from rage. Lily smiled. "He's just being a ridiculous father." She said smiling.

"Father!?" I yelled. He nodded. "I'm your favorite cousin! Why didn't you say anything!" I yelled flailing. "I thought I was his favorite cousin." Clark said walking towards us. "Dude you have no chance." I said scratching his ear. "It's true. Now get going before we all get fired." Rue said seriously. "Uncle Weiss wouldn't do that." I said smiling. "Yes I would." She said from behind me.

"Well we'll get going then." I said nervously. "Your an adult Yin, act like it." She said slapping the back of my head. "Okay! Okay!" I said going into the elevator.

I walked down the heavily guarded corridor. "Mrs. Xiao Long." A guard said. I looked at him. He was tall and lean. "Von Baldwin is in the visiting center." He said. I raised an eyebrow. "Which one?" I asked. "7." He said nervously. I nodded.

I kept walking. I opened the metal door. The others walked in while I held it open. Chess was chained to a chair. The table was bolted to the floor.

"He- Oh, your here." Chess said smiling. Rocket sat down. "You doing okay?" She asked. Rocket nodded. Check was leaning against the wall. "What information do you need this time?" Chess asked seriously. "None actually." Rocket said.

Chess raised an eyebrow. "Your kid wants to talk to you. Your a father remember?" Rocket said. Chess nodded slowly. Check walked over. "You look dumb." Check said smirking. "But we look the exact same." Chess said raising an eyebrow. "Yeah but I have 2 ears." She said sitting.

"I forgot how much of an ass you were." Chess mumbled. "You mean like you." Check said. Burn.

Chess

"Shut the-" Rocket hissed at me. "How are you?" I asked. Check shrugged. "Could be better. If I wouldn't have to be searched every time I hug you." She said glaring at me. I growled and sat up straight. "Look kid, I didn't plan to have you. And I didn't have to let you come in here. So your gonna treat me with fucking respect." I said snarling.

She whimpered and nodded. "Good." I said. "Why are you so grumpy?" Rocket asked. "I got a lot on my mind at the moment." I said sighing. "Like what?" Check asked.

"Why I'm a horrible parent. The fact that my kid is living without a father. Why was I dumb enough to leave my wife. And when do I get out? I hate it here." I said shrugging.

"What do you do in here?" Check asked. "Sit in a metal box and think about my actions." I said sarcastically. "Really?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "No. I work in princess fuckshits dust mine." I said angrily. Check stood up. "That's all." She said. "I'm sorry I'm not the father you wanted. I love you." I said softly. She grinned. "I love you too." She said. Rocket stood up. "I love you Rock." I said smiling. "I guess I love you." She teased winking. I chuckled.

They walked out of the room and my smile turned into a scowl. "What do you want?" I asked. Yin smirked. "I guess I love you." She said laughing. I snarl at her. "When do I get out?" I asked.

"You could work for me and get out now... Or you could stay locked up for the rest of your days." She said sitting on the table.

"Which is easier?" I asked. She shrugged. "Family and freedom-", she said smiling. "Or metal cells and monthly visits." She said frowning.

"I'll work for you, as long as I'm not a receptionist." I said nodding.

"Swear not to run away."

"I swear on my child."
