Basically the back story if that she's been through pain and her heart is broken into shards so she goes into a killing spree since no one would ever accept her and who she is. After killing some people that didn't accept her, Madness took over her.
And after when she has killed someone that she either knows who is kind to her or is a family member, she slits herself, giving her cuts and she bandages them, even though they will forever continue to bleed. Making her remember what she has done.
