While we were on the quinjet, Steve gave a speech.
"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are, we'll be riding into heavy fire. And that's what we signed up for, but the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority, is getting them out. All they want is to live their lives in peace. And that's not gonna happen today, but we can do our best to protect them, and we can get the job done. Well find out what Ultron's been building. We find Romanoff. We clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters, that we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right."
When we landed, Pietro went to warn the police, Bruce went to get Natasha, and Thor went below to try to see what Ultron built. The rest of us were clearing the city. Tony then went to see Ultron in the church.
All of a sudden, robots started coming up from the roads, rivers, anywhere they could. I was fighting and fighting.
Then all hell broke loose. That was when the city started flying.
