Y new school was huge. We were allowed to wear normal clothes unlike at my old school, we had to wear uniforms.

“Jessie can you believe that we get to wear normal clothes! We should have moved ages ago!” Avril shouted at me as we entered the school. “Well someone is exited to put all the clothes she bought to use.” I said looking her up and down. She was wearing a peach tank top and baby pink shorts and peach sandals. Her hair was up in a messy bun. She looked pretty cute as per usual. I on the other hand was wearing a grey long-sleeve cardigan with a white under blouse, black skinny jeans and black combat boats, I wore my hair down. I liked the simple look because it was comfortable but still casual. “Lets go or were gonna be late for class.” She said breaking my thoughts.

As I entered my first class, which was Science, all eyes turned to me. I forced a smile so I wouldn’t feel that weird. “You must be Jessie, Hi I’m your Science Ms Tomlinson.” She greeted me with a warm smile. “Everyone, say Hi to Jessie” Ms Tomlinson continued, “HI!” the class said in unison. I scanned the room for a seat and found one beside a girl with flaming red hair. “Hey, I’m Charlie. Nice to meet you.” She said with a smile. She was in a Maroon5 t-shirt, black skinny jeans and white converse. I liked the style since it was like mine. “Hi. Nice to meet you too Charlie. I like Maroon5 too.” I said. As soon as she heard me speak she looked at me in surprise “What?” I asked confused “It’s just that people were saying that you were from Australia.” she answered “WOW! People are talking about me already? Nice to know that I’m already famous.” I said jokingly. She laughed and I could feel a new friendship developing.
