eeks went by and I meet more people. Their names are Amy, who is a lot like Avril, Clear, who loves art and Liam, who is like a walking radio. But I started to see some changes in Charlie. See was skipping classes a lot and barely coming to school in general. So after school I decided to take a trip to her house. It wasn’t far from mine. I rang the door bell and her mom answered, “Hello Ms Wathen, may I see Charlie please?” I said peeping inside a bit and I saw some thing that looks like an oxygen tank. I know what they look like because my grandfather was on one when he was on his death bed. “Um I’m sure that now is a good time. You can come back tomorrow.” She said as she close the door.

I was left on the door step with my thoughts boggling my mind. “What did she mean by ‘now is not a good time’?” that was the first one that entered my mind. Leaving the house, I looked up and saw her at the window. It looked like she was calling me. I got a little closer and she pointed down, then I saw a rusty ladder leading up to her room. I went towards it, climbed up and she opened the window so I could come in.

When I got into her room; it looked like a small version of a hospital. It looked nothing like the first time I saw it. It had had a brighter look but now it looked pale and she did as well. “Well you look great.”I said sarcastically “Thanks you look awful though.” She said with a weak smile “ Why aren’t you coming to school any more? It’s like you don’t go there anymore” I said feeling concerned. “I have something to tell you.” She said lying on the bed “Go ahead dude; you know you can tell me anything.” Although we haven’t been friends for that long I felt like we have been for years. “I’m sick.”
