Chapter 7:Goodbye To A Loving Father

So the last time Krystal speaked to her family she got news of her dad being in the hospital as he became sick with an ammonia infection in his lungs
He was in critial condition

So its early afternoon and i just got done with running around LA taken care of a few stuff with my cousin Bri and now i finally hang up my keys and close my door behind me just when i get a call on my cell its from my mom
I answer it

Hello momma
I say

Hey sweetie how are you
She says

Im good just walked in the door after a long morning of running around with Bri whats up?
I say

Oh nothing i just called to ....
Oh god i dont know how to put this
She says sounding like shes going to bust out in tears.. She clears her throat
I just called to tell you about your father
She says

I know i was meanin to stop by the hospital this morning i just got caught up stuff with Bri
I say

Krystal.... Your father passed
She says

My whole world just came to a scretching hault and my heart just dropped
I mean im completely blank my whole mind

.....what do u mean mom no please no tell me its not true
I say as tears begin to run down my face

I wish i could say it wasn't hun but it is trust me i didnt want to believe it at first either when the nurse called me this morning all morning i have been speaking with God and crying
I also tried to get ahold of you
Did u recieve any of my voice mails and texts nena?
She says

No my phone was off i just turned it back on when i walked in omg momma no
I say as im already crying

Krystal sweetie dont worry hes in a better place nena trust me hes healthy now hes no longer sick
Hes home
She says

Mom how can u say that u and dad were married for 30yrs
I say as im shocked to hear my mom sound so calm with the passing of my father

I know dear but thats how life runs we live and then its time to return home
Its how God made it
She says

Mom i love you and all but right now
But ima be honest i really just want to sit and just remember the times with dad ill call you later please understand
But with you talkin like ur so calm of his passing i just cant
So like i said ill call you later i promise
I say

Okay nena i completely understand
She says as we hang up...
I place my phone back in my pocket and head over to the couch in the living room and just sit down with my head down as tears fall down my face....
Just then there's a knock at my door i get up and answer it and to my surprise its Chris
Im standing in the doorway just lookin at him hes staring at me with a smile and i look like someone just shot a bullet into my head and im still alive
Shocked and surprised & possibly scared the 💩 out of him i throw myself at him and wrap my arms around his neck and hug him he responds back by wrapping his arms around my waist and hugs me back a lil tight
We break

What was that for
He says

Oh im just glad to see you
I say as i let him in.. He closes the door behind him as we talk over to the kitchen counter top he sits i fix us drinks

So r u really stoked to see me?
He says

Mhm
I say as i just stare at him hoping he dont see how red my eyes are from all the cryin i was doing

Krystal is something wrong? I left the studio the minute you called are you okay? Where is Kiara and Siara are they okay?
He says starin at me hard and scared
