As you can guess that made it very difficult to update.

When all of a sudden I feel long, slender arms wrap around my belly.
Ryan grins at me sending a chill down my spine.

I turn around expecting a man trying to kill me but...
there he is! Mephisto Pheles in the flesh.

He wraps his arms around me and squeezes me into a hug.
"Uncle Mephisto!" I scream.

"Lilith! Darling! It has been so long! Are you excited to start your new life here in Japan?!" Mephisto asked...

"I definitely am but what about my mother? Doesn't she want you to send me back to Australia?" I desperately ask.

"Oh gosh no! Why would I do that? I've been on your side the whole time. Spread your wings child! the world is your oyster!" He said very sure of himself.

"Now let's get your bags! And set course for True Cross Academ--" Mephisto was cut off.

*Mepshito's phone bleeps*

"Hold that thought. I have a very urgent matter to attend!
Sorry darling, but I won't be traveling with you to the academy.
Ryan here will take you instead!" He informed me.

Then he whispered in my ear "he may look scary but he's a really softy, he'll take care of you during my absence.
Before I could whisper a reply I was cut off from Mephisto yelling across the room.

"SEE YOU LATER SWEETIE!" He yelled from across the room.

"WAIT HOW DID HE GET FROM WHISPERING IN MY EAR TO YELLING ACROSS THE ROOM!?
"Must be the jet lag" I thought.

The car trip was long and boring but we eventually arrived
to True Cross Academy.

"Woah! The academy is huge!" I exclaim to Ryan.

"Sure is" he plainly replied.

"Do you have any idea when uncle Mephisto will be back?" I curiously asked.

"Who knows" he said in a rude tone.

"DID SOMEONE SAY MY NAME?" A voice from the gates yelled.

It was uncle Mephisto!
He strolled to the car without a worry in the world.

"Lilith I hoped you enjoyed your travel. Now let me introduce you to your new home, True Cross Academy." He said
"Now I will take you to your room!" He said while motioning me to follow him

"I know this isn't the fanciest of dorms but I made sure I was very private."

"thank you so much uncle, this is honestly everything I've ever wanted!" I stated

"It's no worry whatsoever my sweet child.
Now Lilly, I would really like to ask you a question?"

"Sure" I replied.

"Do you believe in other realms? Other entities? In this universe." He asked very seriously.

"I do, I'm not sure if there is a god or not but I do believe there is something otherworldly." I replied

"That is a very intelligent response child. He said.

We remained in silence the remainder of the walk

*we arrived at my dorm.
"It seems like it has just been recently abandoned" I thought*

"Well! Here we are!" Mephisto said breaking the silence.
"Pick any room you desire munchkin!
I do suggest room 69,
It just just been renovated" he winked

Mephisto hugged me one last time and walked away.

"OH AND YOUR TIMETABLE SHOULD BE ON YOUR BED! YOU START TOMORROW!" Mephisto yelled. 

"Than---" I paused. he was gone.

"School starts on a Sunday? That's strange." I thought to myself.

I walked up to my room.
It was the second last room, 3 flights up.

As I walked in I see a room decorated beautifully with fairy lights and a canopy bed with delicate white curtains.

"This must have been hand carved." I thought to myself while examining the bed

I bring my attention to the objects on my bed.
There are two notes.
One I am assuming is my timetable. The other objects are my new school uniform and of course... a grand piano!

"How did uncle Mephisto know I played the piano?" I wondered.

I picked up one of the notes

It said:

"Lilith I know what you may be thinking, school on a Sunday? Since when is that a thing? Don't fret child you're different than most of my students. It's time you learn the truth.
Meet me at 8:00am on the bridge we walked over while taking you to your dorm tomorrow morning.
I hope you like your room!

- Mephisto xoxo"

I wonder what he means by "the truth"? Oh well I'll worry about that tomorrow.
