Garnets POV

    When I opened the door to my house, step-mom asked me in a mad way "Where were you this late?" I replied by saying "I, was paired up with Zidane for a big project. It gives me extra credit."

"I don't want you to be with Zidane!" She venomusly yelled to me.

"It's for my grade."

"How long is it?"

"31 days."

"Then after that 1 month, avoid Zidane at all costs!" I said yes unfortunately. I can't belive she is like this! She has to be verbally abusing me, right? She pointed to her right and said "There's a tray of Sushi that you can pre-heat." I got the food ready.

    "Garnet, I know you are mad at me cause of what I am doing, but I want the best for you."

"What if the best is to be with Zidane? He isn't bad!"

"Garnet, honey. I don't think so. What has he done in the year? He was hired to kidnap you, he's a womanizer, and he's very inappropriate for his age! Zidane is no good for you."

"You don't know Zidane like I know him. How respectful he is, mom Zidane loves me! Isn't that good? For adding romamce in my life?" I cried. Taking out the Sushi and sitting on the table.

"Of course I do Garnet, I just think he loves you in the wrong way."

"What do you mean? He wou--"

"It's just lust. He probaly lust loves you. Zidane only wants you because of your looks and how 'good looking' your body shape is."
"Zidane loves me because of, everything! He isn't like that!"

"Garnet, I'm not in the mood to argue! I just want to warn you how teenage boys are like. I don't feel safe that you love a womanizer that is the younger brother to someone that made your mother evil!"

   She just opened up old wounds. When I finished the sushi, I ran upstairs and called Zidanes new number. What if step-mom is right? What if Zidane only likes me because of my looks? My stomach ties in knots.

"Hey Garnet, my sweetness."

"Zidane?"

"What is wrong? Tell me."

"Step-mom said something that worried me!"

"What is it?"

"She said that you only love me for my looks not my personality."
There was no response from Zidane. No, this can't be true!

"Are you serious? I love you because of your personality Garnet! But don't think that your ugly because Garnet, to me, your the most beautiful and pretty girl in the world. I could be looking at a girl wearing a skin-tight bikini and you will still be better looking. That's so bogus Garnet and it kinda hurts my feelings that you would think that about me." Zidane feels tears.

"I'm so so sorry Zidane! She just has a way to brainwash people. I was being manipulated!"

"I know you'll break out of there Garnet. Just don't think that I'm a raper or a womanizer. You know how I really am."

"Ok, I love you so so much Zidane. I can't get enough of you."

"I love you too Garnet."
