Chapter 20

Grace,Ysel and Kendra showed Jill to her room. "Stay as long as you need to," Kendra said with a smile. "Thank you. And you're an angel and their demons? And your father is Lucifer himself? And you guys are sisters," Jill said. Kendra laughed and said,"Yes,yes,and yes." The sisters left Jill so she could rest. They headed to their rooms to rest as well. Kendra, sat on her bed and stretched her wings. They hurt. They are molting. Feathers are falling from left and right. She thought. She heard wings. She laid down and said,"Go away Gab." "How'd you know it was me," Gabriel asked. "One,you're the only archangel that visits me. Two,you small of sweet candy," Kendra said.  Gab sat down on her bed and said,"I-," and was cut off by Kendra.  Kendra sat up and said,"Gab. You're amazing but I'm not in the best of moods." She realized that feathers covered the floor since her wings were spread about. "They hurt don't they? I can help," Gab said and reached his hand out to touch Kendra's wing. Kendra pulled her left wing out of his reach  and said,"No. Don't touch them!" Gab was taken aback by the snap in her voice. She saw his hurt look on his face. "Gab. I'm sorry for snapping. You just wanna help...you can touch them,"Kendra said and brought her wing back into Gab's reach. Gabriel's face lite up with happiness. He reach up and gently stroked her wing. Kendra relaxed and laid down with her wing across his lap. "Feel better," Gab said. "Very," Kendra said. She flipped over so he could do her right wing.
Sam was heading to bed as he passed the room Jill was in. He wanted to knock,but he didn't know what to say. The door swang open and there stood Jill. "Sam? I head someone's footsteps then they stopped so I came to check. Did you need to talk," she asked. Sam was lost. "Uh. Yes. May I...I...come in," he asked . Jill nodded and let him. She closed the door. "Thank you for helping me. What did you want to talk about," she asked. "You're welcome and I can't remember. Well I'll leave so you can sleep," Sam said and started heading to the door. Jill grabbed his arm and said,"No. Please stay Sam. With me." Sam nodded and him and Jill both laid in her bed sound asleep.
