The cure

Prologue

I need to stop making new ones, this should be me one and only vampire story I write, hopefully.

Prologue.

Scientists have been working on a cure for cancer since it was discovered. In 2015 they created a virus that brought humans back to life, however, those who came back weren't human, those who had watched movies, named the creatures Zombies. Inventors created a helmet that detected when a humans heart beat completely and injected thousands of sharp objects into the head, two years later, in 2017 scientists created the cure to the zombie virus. Later that same year they created what they hoped was the cure so they injected it into about 15 test subjects, those 15 were the first of the vampire race.

The vampires could be staked or be starved to death, most of them had a sun aversion to some degree, some harsher than others. So the scientists released the vampires out to the streets where the press soon released numerous stories about vampire attacks and more vampires. Another year two years past and it was 2019 three more species had been made, Werewolves, whose blood was poisonous to Vampires. Werewolves could be born or made, they were controlled by the moon, in the full moon they were forced into the werewolf form, when the moon vanished for a night they could change at will, as with if a blue moon came along. Shape shifters were created, they could only be born, some of the highly skilled could open portals, and they could change into dragons. Through the portals created came the fair folk or fae, or the fairy, the fae's blood was irresistible to vampires once a vampire got their fangs into the fae they wouldn't stop until they dropped. There were many types of fae who came through, so many that I wouldn't be able to get on to my story. Through the portals also came demons, such as incubi and succubi and many evil creatures that I dare not name.

The year after that, 2020 scientists gave up. 16 years later, in the year 2036, I am one of the many fang-rape victims, the government has provided schools for us supernatural creatures. My one is one that used to be an all girls school, our school contains both boys and girls of all species, I'm one of the few vampires wanting to rehabilitate, if you will, and I'm managing to fight off the hunger most of the time, but when I can't there's usually a blood bag, but when there isn't, and this usually happens in a crowd, things get ugly.
