Chapter 17

*Jennifer's POV*

A baby girl.

I'm having a baby girl. Tears swell up in my eyes, dying to escape. I could already imagine what she'll look like; Louis' blue eyes, my brown curly hair, Louis' smile, basically everything Louis has and one thing she'll get from me. But she'll only get to see her mother and not her father since he's already with another woman.

The doctor wiped the gel off my stomach with a warm rag and told me to sit up. I put down my shirt and turned to Amanda with teary eyes.

"Well, that's all ladies. There's nothing else I can do for ya?" Doctor Sanchez asked.

"No. I think I'm good. We have no questions at the moment," I replied smiling at her and put my hand over my belly, rubbing it.

"Alright, I'll get you your ultrasound picture and you guys will be good to go," She stood up, exiting the room, and closing it.

Amanda and I kept quiet, us both knowing we want to squeal very loudly, but not in public. We will once we get home.

Doctor Sanchez came back with a little envelope and handed it too me. I took it and stood up from the bed to open the door, but she held it open for me and Amanda. We both smiled and said a small 'thank you' and walked out.

As soon as we got in the car we started squealing really loud;

"Oh my gosh! You're having a baby girl! Oh my God, what are you going to name her?" Amanda asked/squealed (to) me.

"Well, I always loved the name Evangeline," I smiled.

"Evangeline it is," She put a hand over my belly.

"What about her middle name?" She asked.

"How 'bout.... Rose?" I said.

"Yea. Let's do Rose!" She said in excitement.

"But whose last name is she gonna take?" Amanda asked again.

"Let's just keep it mine....I'll figure something out later," I suggested.

She started the car and we went home.

Once we got home, I sat down on the couch, grabbed the remote, and found a movie I love to death; The Hunger Games. I have no idea where Amanda went, possibly back to school, but it was a Thursday, so why would she go back? Meh, I don't care, I'm staying home for the rest of my 8 months in a half with the baby, and some online classes. I can at least get an online degree. I pushed that topic away and continued watching the movie.

The movie ended and I checked the time on my iPhone; 11:30am. Katherine and Amanda should be at lunch right now, let's give them a call.

"Hello?"

"Hey! How's my black haired bestie doing?" I was calling Katherine.

"Erm, I'm doing good. I'm eating. And you?" She replied.
