The rain strummed a steady rhythm as you walked. Soaked to the bone, you quickly tried to make it home.
You and your boyfriend, Jason, were at a party. He got pretty drunk and ran off with another lady. With no ride home, you have to walk.
Cars shot by, ignoring you while you got drenched. You had been walking for a hour now and you had no idea where you were. You looked down at your phone, attempting to turn it on, to find it was dead. You groaned and shoved it back in your sweater pocket angrily.
You turned down Wobble Street, a street you hadn't been on before.
A man, from what you could see through the rain, was peering out from his door at you. He seemed to have bluish hair and pure black eyes. "Luv, would yew like to come on inside?"
You thought about it for a second, then a quick crack of thunder encouraged you to accept the offer. You hopped up the stairs into the home with the house number 212.
